Title: Pop of color
Review: Each strand is about the length of my forearm, alternating between 3-5 lights per strand and each starts with a different primary color which I think makes the lighting effects pop. There is a button on the power plug that allows you to change the mode but I have remotes from other decorations that also allow me to switch it around. I enjoy that the wire itself is clear so that only the lights catch attention outdoors. Kind of a headache to untangle but it’s easily rectifiable when organizing for future use!

Title: Another brand of these common lights, works just like all the others
Review: I bought these under a different brand but these are completely 100% identical (only way to tell them apart is a different Amazon bar code sticker on the box), so my review is also identical. These exact lights are sold under a bunch of different brands. They seem to change a bit from year to year (both the lights and the controller) but they generally stay about the same. I always buy them in “warm white” which does vary a bit as well; these are similar to last year’s in that they are a bit more on the yellow side compared to in the past. This batch has conical clear tips on the lights; that shape also varies from year to year.The controller has both 8 lighting modes and also an automatic timer mode (6 hours on, 18 hours off). Thankfully it remembers the lighting mode after being unplugged; some do not. This is important because I use these with a separately-purchased external sensor to turn on automatically when dark, which cuts the power, rather than relying on the built-in timer.The controller supposedly is not waterproof, and the instructions say to put it in a plastic bag for outdoor use. However, I have had no problems leaving this style of controller out for 2 months every winter with no protection. I generally buy new lights every year since they do lose some brightness over time, and the clear plastic yellows with exposure to the sun.

Title: Awesome
Review: Purchased two of these sets so review is the same. Decided to go with warmer colors for Christmas this year and wanted icicle style lights for the front. To be honest was a little disappointed after opening these originally, they felt kinda cheap and the color was not what I expected. I wanted warm white similar to an incandescent light, these were almost yellow it seemed. It was a bit hard finding other lights close to this shade to match for other areas of the house which was frustrating but eventually I found some. After all this though once they were installed outside I loved them! The color was fube6, still not my favorite and I’d prefer whiter but alone wasn’t a bad look. The functions as far as blink, fade, twinkle etc are awesome, definitely a great touch. To combine multiple sets you have a screw on plug at the end, not your standard outlet. All in all these are awesome, we’ll see how they hold up.
