Title: Great heater for my Deck in the North Georgia.
Review: I have recently built a beautiful deck as an addition to my place in North Georgia so I could enjoy the out of doors and entertain friends more easily. With the cold weather upon us, I bought this heater to throw warmth specifically in the direction of where we were sitting or dining. For me it works better than a mushroom heater that throws heat 360 degrees because it throws heat directly toward a specific area. I would guess the heater sends heat out about 9-10ft straight ahead and about the same range width wise depending if you have a breezy day or how cold it is outside.* I use this instead of a firepit…No mess to clean up and when I am ready to go inside, I just turn it off instead of having to dowse a fire or wait for the logs to burn down. And I love not smelling smokey like you’d experience if I had a firepit to warm us on the deck. This little heater is perfect for my use.Just wish it was a bit more decorative or the cart that houses the heating element would accommodate the propane tank too for a bit neater presentation.I Highly recommend this little heater. I rented 3 similar style heaters from a tent company for a patio party when the temperatures dropped suddenly and didn’t want to move my dinner party inside. The three heaters worked great for the party of 16 friends. You may want to consider buying at least two if you enjoy entertaining out of doors and don’t’ want to worry about your guests being cold. These little heaters make you feel toasty in seconds, no waiting for a fire to catch ablaze…I can go out and enjoy my deck for a few moments with this little heater to enjoy watching the birds while I enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, or a few hours for a cockout with several friends …we are comfortable Autumn and Winter so I can enjoy the deck all four seasons.

Title: Simple, provides great heat
Review: I ended up purchasing this for the covered portion of my back patio since the ceiling was two low to safely use the “normal” heaters that you see on patios at restaurants. This Mr. Heater unit is a bit more industrial looking than those but it’s low profile keeps it from grabbing your attention. What you don’t see in the picture (or in the manual or in the description) is that the supplied hose for connecting to the LP cylinder is a generous 12 feet long. The manual (which is overburdened with safety information) wants you to keep your LP tank at least 6 feet away so this gives you plenty of lee way. Some people have noted problems starting the unit with the supplied piezoelectric starter but I had no issues there. It starts reliably for me every time. I have to admit that it does take a bit longer than I was comfortable with the first few times and there is a definite “woosh” that you get as the gas finally ignites but I never felt it was dangerous and the piezoelectric spark is visible so I *know* it’s going to catch in fairly short order. It seems to take about 3 times longer than does my piezoelectrically started bar-b-que.One note: The Mr. Heater website is not that great. You can’t register your products there as of this writing. And their “contact them” form suffers from the same issue (cannot select mandatory State field), so you’ve got to use an actual stamp to register. A minor item unless you need support from them which I did not.

Title: Heater
Review: I bought the heater last year for Agg show in barn. It was around 30 degrees. I bought this and itâs great. Only problem is you can not turn the heat down. It wide open or off. We only had a small area to set in so we could not move very far from it. I would buy again

Title: Good size for the price
Review: I had it in my mind that it was a lot bigger than it really is…. needless to say when I got the box and set it up I was slightly disappointed at first, but then after having to move it around a handful of times… it became one of its assets that it is compact and puts out a good amount of heat. I use a couple of them to warm piping and pumps and so far it really works well. I initially wanted a propane forced air heater, but of course when I needed it— it was going to take too long to get, so I did buy this one. Maybe it is not optimal, but they work nicely and have prevented things from freezing.

Title: Manufacturer is worthless…
Review: I bought this heater (2 weeks ago) to use in our woodshop. When working, the unit puts out ample heat but is unsafe because the tip-over switch doesn’t work. I contacted Mr. Heater which was a nightmare. After 50 minutes, having to press #2 every 105 seconds, I finally gave up and left an irritated message. Surprisingly, Gary called me back, apologized for the long wait and assured me that if I called him back on his direct line and provided the serial # (Amazon order # was insufficient) – he would call me back and take all of my info and send me the new part. I was a little happier… but not for long…I have called several times with serial # in hand, requesting a call back – only to be ignored. When I tried to return the heater I found that Amazon doesn’t sell it anymore (although it is available thru the marketplace at a much higher price). Given the hassle with Mr. Heater I would not buy another one of their products… They certainly do not stand by their products and make it very difficult to get warranty satisfaction…

Review: This thing is capable of warming up my garage (20×20) in the cold of winter. I used it when it was -7 outside and it had no problem warming up the garage. I had to turn it off after about 1 hour (I was working on my car) as it was getting too hot. The lighting mechanism is the same as a barbecue except there is alot more propane. Also, to keep the heater lit initially you have to hold down the propane release valve for about 5 seconds even after it is lit or it will go out.I think the only thing that would have made this better would be a small fan of sorts at the top. Nothing is projecting this heat outward so instead of circulating around it is slightly projected then goes straight up. I may put a portable fan in the garage to help circulate things a bit. This isn’t really a drawback as I was initially going to spend a ton of money to have the proper wiring done (220v).I don’t regret this for a second at this price. A standard bbq propane tank is good for about 10 hour it seems.Highly recommend if you have no source of heat in your garage.

Review: I like that you don’t have to light it. It has a push start button. We are using it to heat our 2 car garage. Heats up fast and my husband can work out there in the cold weather.

Review: Works great, no issue turning it on but the igniter doesn’t produce a very big spark, still it lights on each try. One star removed because of design flaws, lots of heat is generated, yet compliance label is glued to reflective panel which gets very hot, thus it peels after first use. Construction is definetly residential grade and wouldn’t last on a real worksite. For the price, I expected more robust construction.Winter 2016-17 update: wheel base is too flimsy, almost impossible to cart over rugged surface, heat generated was perfect during the fall, unfortunately for winter with wind the heat is less because it keeps cooling the reflective burner and the propane bottle tends to freeze up. I believe you’d need to heat propane for winter use and possibly use a higher output regulator. Still a solid 4 stars for heat it generated in the fall and work done outdoors with it. Very pleased.

Review: i dont know why people buy patio heaters that throw heat above your head into the sky, this puts the heat right where you need it for outdoor comfort, it also works great for heating a room or garage. Love it so I bought 2
