Title: Works fine and cleans thoroughly
Review: This vacuum mapped the whole house and cleans efficiently. The self emptying basin is okay. Some debris get stuck in the vacuum container and require manual removal.

Title: Worst of my 3 Roombas
Review: I have had 3 Roombas, all of which have been similar and from the same Roomba Robot family (i). iRobot has improved the vacuum capacity; however, it has failed miserably at the noise volume and maneuverability of their vacuums.Cons: This one is as loud as the first Roomba that I bought in 2010. It gets stuck more easily than ANY other Roomba I have had. It is non-responsive to commands through the smart system intermittently and error messages do not come through correctly via the application. So both smart management through Alexa and management through the iRobot application have been ineffective. It randomly stops its cleaning while fully charged. I am considering returning it and asking for a refund. Regarding the getting stuck: this Roomba likes to try and clean something but then does not, like other robots, try backing up or maneuvering off – it gets itself stuck on angled precipices. Also, it has a thing for dog bones – while other Roombas would push these same bones around or climb over them, this Roomba likes to choke on them. Literally. He gets the bone stuck and then he stops working. The error messages are not clear, either.Pros: it does run in a more predictable pattern than the first early Roomba who was pure chaos. It does usually self-empty – however, in relation to that, somehow my dog hair is clogging the process (and I don’t have big or hairy dogs), and I am now manually cleaning the tower and robot.Personal Reflection: I didn’t realize it would be as bad as it is, and I’m wondering about returning it. I’ve done trouble shooting to no avail yet. So the question then becomes whether it will suffice for what it is needed or whether it is a waste of money due to moderate performance and need for continual attention. In general, I strongly recommend AGAINST purchasing this model. It is as effective as a $50 robot vacuum. Shame, iRobot, for putting this on the market.

Title: Great for vacuuming up hair
Review: Auto empty is time saving and dust less. I have long hair and I enjoy sewing so hair and threads are always everywhere. The robot is easy to clean for both hair and threads. They wrap around the edge brush and rollers but both are easy to remove, clean and replace. The screw for loosening the edge brush is tight. You need an old fashioned flat head screwdriver with thick head and some elbow grease. But, it is much easier than cleaning brushes on a vacuum cleaner. As for dog hair, it’s a doggone dream. It fits under my furniture and sweeps up dirt. I have recovered a few things I did not know were missing from under the furniture. The robot pushes it out with ease. I pick up before it runs to ensure it has full range and so far it hasn’t caught on anything.Good suction. It has to recharge itself midway on approximately 1300 sq ft but it doesn’t take any effort on my part.

Title: Nice idea implemented terribly.
Review: One star because I can’t give it zero stars. Fails miserably to do what it’s supposed to. Trust me, save the packaging.I tried multiple times to get the Roomba to explore/map an area of one short hallway, a small bathroom, one bedroom, LR and kitchen. It never once completed (which means it won’t save anything it did scan) and it takes a long time so you have to try again and again. It only stores one map and you cannot edit/add to it so it’s all or nothing. Without a map all you can do is tell it “clean everywhere” and cross your fingers that it will complete the job (or contain it in a small area and do likewise but that means picking the stupid thing up and carrying it around). I watched it try to map one simple room and consistently fail to discover half of it.Obstacles that gave it a lot of trouble included a thin bathroom mat, a very low pile carpet and floor registers for the heating. Furniture legs also really slow exploration down. Maybe in a simple open area with no obstructions it might work but that’s not like any house I know. There’s only so much stuff you can move off the floor.Capacity is tiny. If you’ve got pets it will fill up and need emptying quite often and since I had no option but the aforementioned manually placing it in a room and doing a “clean everywhere” I had to either pick it up and carry it to the vicinity of the base station to empty itself (repeat repeat repeat since it needs multiple trips to clean that room) or move the base station to each room and run “clean everywhere”. With this much manual work I see no time savings (quite the opposite) and it doesn’t even do as good a job as me pulling out the regular vacuum and doing it myself. If you have an *extremely* simple floor plan, an absolute bare minimum of furniture and other objects, 100% hard floors (no rugs, carpets, etc), no pets and a lot of spare time this might work for you. Otherwise steer clear. I am returning this to Amazon today.

Title: Most Accurate yet
Review: This is the 4th auto vacuum I have owned and it is by far the best one yet I have had 2 other older Roombas and I currently have another self emptying off brand one. This one is by far the most efficient, it makes it’s way around the furniture well, the dog toys don’t seem to bother it, and it almost always makes it back to it’s base. The only times I have an issue with it making it home is when it sucks up my husband’s boot laces. It doesn’t always clean my door mats it sometimes just pushes them into a heap and cleans around them, but this doesn’t really bother me.

Review: Love it great suction takes a few days to map your layout but it’s fantastic.mOnem thing to be aware of and i personally don’t care is it leaves black marks on the baseboard and doors from bumping into them. The machine also gets very scratched up on it’s body.
