Review: The Sherpa side creates warmth. I had a smooth throw on me with this one on top. I didnât warm up after having been out in the cold. So I put this underneath with the Sherpa next to my skin. I got nice and warm then!

The blanket is so soft and fluffy. Itâs lightweight and yet quite warm, which is important for my husband who cannot tolerate too much weight on his legs. The material is OEKO-TEX certified. âOeko-Tex certification is a voluntary process that ensures textiles are free of harmful chemicals and other substances throughout the production process. The certification is based on strict limits and requirements for chemical usage, and is intended to encourage sustainable textile manufacturing.â I machine washed and dried the blanket and it came out even softer and fluffier. I was surprised that it did not produce any lint. Most of the time, when I wash and dry our other fleece like throws, our dryer lint trap ends up overflowing. My only problem with the blanket is that both our cats decided to climb on top of it make biscuits (knead it with their paws). That definitely did not help my husband rest comfortably and we had to cover the blanket with the bedâs top sheet. There are similar looking throw blankets that are available at lower prices, but none match the quality of this one!
