Title: Good little robot for keeping areas clean between manual vacuuming.
Review: I was never really convinced that robot vacuums could ever do a good enough job to match a manual cleaning, however after setting up this model, I can understand how they have their place. In this review Iâll go over the basics of the initial setup and update at a later time once all the features have been tested. Out of the box things are pretty straight forward. You place the sweeping brush on the unit and plug in the charging base. After downloading the App and connection to the unit, following the setup instructions is pretty straight forward. The robot has a voice feature that lets you know what needs to be done. Once the connection is made and the robot is powered up it will automatically start looking for its base and begin to charge. After fully charging, the robot will be ready for the next part of the initial setup which is the scanning of the cleaning area so it can build its cleaning map which will be loaded up tp the App.Our particular scanning procedure was a little problematic seeing as we have a lanai that is a half foot drop from the rest of the condo (see photo). However, after restarting the map scan and placing a book or other object at the edge of the lanai every time the robot tried to go in there, we were able to create a map of the condo that allowed us to use the Apps âNo Go Areaâ feature. After setting up the no go area on the map the robot now goes to the edge of the lanai and cleans a straight line along the edge all the way across.Battery life: the battery life on the unit is pretty good, but letâs understand that the less cluttered the cleaning area (chairs, side tables or any other fixed objects), the less time the unit will have to navigate around the items and the sooner it can finish its task. If you find that the robot is running out of battery before the entire area is clean, I would use the âZoneâ feature and set up some zones on an alternate day.How well it cleans: We have a cat so our yardstick of the robots cleaning ability was how well it pick up any stray pieces of litter and the kitty fur that collects around baseboards and chair legs. The results were good and we were satisfied with the results. The robot sticks close to the walls and is very good at getting into the corners and all along the baseboards.Rugs: We were very surprised at the power of this little robot. When it was done with the rug area(it adjusts easily from hard floor to rug height)it left the same parallel marks that we see when we vacuum the rugs with our upright vacuum.Mop function: Have not had a chance to use this feature yet.SUMMARY: I would say that as a first robot vacuum that this unit, for the price, is a good buy. Understand that it all depends on your expectations. This is the first robot vacuum weâve owned and donât have much to compare it to with regards to more expensive units. One thing I can say is that if you are looking for a robot that cleans well and helps keep your place tidy in between more thorough cleanings, itâs great. Also a nice feature is the fact that it can get under all your beds and other places where your vacuum just wonât fit.

Title: Excellent, well-priced, intelligent Robot Vacuum cleaner works!
Review: I was a bit skeptical about using a robot vacuum cleaner in our home with so many rugs, mats, room threshholds and furniture. I thought it would immediately get stuck, but it doesn’t — I am very pleased with this BPMIO robot vacuum. Initial set up is a bit time-consuming as you follow the robot to map out the outlines of your rooms and hallways, but once it is configured, the vacuum works surprisingly well. You use a phone app to divide your home into different rooms which you can then program one, some or all rooms for cleaning, based on a schedule you set up. The robot works best on tile or other hard surface floors, but is able to tackle threshhold strips between rooms, and area rugs/carpets.I’ve included a screenshot of the smartphone app’s map showing the map it creates as the robot learns the floorplan. It then is able to show coverage of the robot vacuum as it traces its path back-and-forth, around corners, and along the walls. The top of the vacuum has a raised, round protrusion with the LIDAR sensor, and the body has bump sensors on the sides. I was happy to see that the programming works so well when the robot runs into obstacles such as furniture randomly placed in its way – the robot was able to adjust its cleaning path to bypass the obstacle but still clean as much of the floor around the obstacle before moving on. When the robot is low on battery, it will return automatically to the charging station to power up so that’s one place where you cannot have any obstacles. Note that the dirt/dust bin is relatively small so it needs to be regularly emptied after use. I haven’t tried the mop feature yet; I removed it entirely for better movement. In summary, this robot vacuum won’t replace any of your regular upright or cannister vacuum cleaners, but for light dusting and vacuuming on an automatic schedule, it works very well.

Review: This is not a bad robot if you use it as a vacuum. The base station is compact and the robot works well.It use the Smart Life app, which I have used fir various devices, and I find it reassuring that a bigger and trustworthy app is used instead of a custom app from a company I never heard of. The app worked really well and connecting the robot was a breeze.I let it quick map the rooms with lights on and vacuum them with light off. It did not seem to struggle beside rolling over a piece of clothe that was on the floor and tangling the main brush. It stopped promptly and gave me a notification. The clothe was not damaged and was easy to remove. The vacuum often tend to push things around or rely on its colisiom sensor. Two examples I can give is that it pushed an empty box that my kids are playing with, and managed to move a door from being open at ~80 degree to close it half way, almost trapping itself in the room. But overal, it works well as a vaccuum. As far as the mopping, I mean, it works well, but the reservoir can only contain about 200ml of water. It’s just not enough. And the base station does notnwash the mopping pad not does it allow to refill the water tank of the robot. So it really feel like an after thought. The mapping worked really good. I purposefully let it do the quickmapping and first clear with the stairs being unmarked. I was expecting the robot to throw itself down the stairs. It did not. I then added a virtual wall in the app.The path the robot take seems to be optimized for the room orientation and layout so it will do long passes as much as it can. There are no option for the pattern type or spacing but honestly the default is fine. One concern I have are supplies. I’m not sure what bags, roller, brush or filter are required once you got through the provided ones:- 1 roller, no extra- 2 bags- 2 filters- 2 brushes (the robot use only 1 so you have a spare one)The quick setup instruction were very clear, illustrated in color on a large cardboard and made the install really easy.A minor thing but the speaker on the robot sounds really cheap. Not that it matters much, but I was surprised by it.As a vacuum, the price of just over 400$ is great and assuming supplies are available, I can recommend this.If you need something that can mop as well, I don’t think there are good options that I know in this price range.

Consiglio

Review: This robot has really changed my life. We have it on most days as we have a dog and it really has transformed my cleaning routine.I occasionally still give the high pile rug a good Hoover (the robot does manage to do it, but not quite as well as a proper Hoover). Apart from that itâs all left to my little robot friend. My only criticism is that when I moved it to upstairs I have to find the right map and the navigation of the app is a little tricky, but maybe Iâm missing something. Either way I figure it out.

Première fois qu’il me faisait ça.
