Title: Great espresso, super easy to use
Review: Iâve had this machine close to 20 days, using it daily. This makes great espesso and lattes. Itâs super easy to use and takes about 15 seconds to grind and 30 seconds for a shot. Main pros: great coffee, easy to use, straightforward. The touch screen is super intuitive and walks you through the steps for each drink. The tamper and portafilter feel solid, heavy, and are made of high quality stainless steel. It feels like quality when using. The tray below is super easy to clean.Cons: At first the grinder made a small clicking sound and got stuck. But then I realized it was because my coffee beans were too old and dry. After getting better beans the issue went away. For a true coffee snob, you might want to invest in a very high end grinder ($500 or more). In that case youâll end up with two grinders one built in and one external. However, for the vast majority of people the built in grinder is good enough. Keep in mind having the grinder and espresso machine as one unit means thereâs a little more risk of something breaking down the line, but itâs convenient and looks nice having everything in just one unit.A few tips:1. make sure to pack enough grinds in the portafilter to get a good shot.2. A bunch of reviews complain about the steam auto clean making a big mess. This is super easy to resolve. Just put the wand in the stainless steel cup before lowering it for cleaning. Then it sprays into the cup not all over the place. Seems like a no brainer. Because of the force or the cleaning, thereâs no way it could be clean without containing the wand in a cup.

Title: Amazing
Review: I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and really enjoy it. It is super intuitive to use, and since I’m far from being a coffee buff, the touch screen display is really helpful. Even a novice like me could figure it out without much difficulty.Initial setup and calibration took a little while and I’m still tweaking the grind size and quantity. I’m getting better at getting the right pressure on the tamp too. That took a while to figure out.I’ve only used Americano and Latte so far but both have turned out great. The auto milk foaming wand is really nice. I found that having it foam for about 5-10 seconds longer than default allows me to more easily make the art on top of the drink. The wand self cleans which is amazing. The machine is solidly built and looks really nice on the counter. It is a little taller than I thought, with the bean hopper on top, so I have to slide it out from under my cupboards in order to fill the beans or fill the water behind. It’s making very consistent and delicious coffee, and I’m very satisfied with it. With the high price point though, it’ll be interesting to see how long it lasts and whether it ends up saving me any money from buying coffee instead. Time will tell. The spacing of everything is precise, down to the centimeter almost. The hot water sprayer and the portafiller are both super close to missing my mug, but somehow don’t.I haven’t cleaned it yet, as we’re using Sparkletts water and the filter it came with, so very soft water and not much buildup. We’ll see how the cleaning process goes but if I follow the instructions on the screen, I’m sure it’ll be easy.Making the coffee is a little messy so it’s good to have a damp cloth handy.I think Breville is a well respected brand and this one does not disappoint.

Title: From plant to cup
Review: I really like this product. Touch buttons for all the primary coffee house flavors are preset and you have the ability to modify settings to personal taste. Easy to follow setup tutorial gets you up and running quickly and when you become familiar with machine operations and setting which is not difficult at all, you can create other flavors. In a household where two or more have different preferences outside of the factory preset settings it is easy to adjust and save to an individual taste then next time you do nothing more than press the saved button for your personalized setting.Admittedly it is on the expensive side for home use, but for those who are coffee house regulars it will pay for itself in a short period of time The time spent to make a cup is faster than standing in line to have someone else make your cup and you have more options.I feel that I should address what I don’t like about the machine, but that’s difficult. It is solid, manufactured mostly out of stainless steel with very little plastic. If I had to request one change it would be for a larger water tank as the tank soon seems to empty when you are making more than one cup and purging the system to clean, but that’s all I can think of.My heading has significance as I am fortunate to live in a location where I grow my own coffee. This machine now gives me the means of repeatability and knowing that every cup will be produced with the same grind, brew time and temperature allows me to assess coffee bean preparation and roast knowing the cup is made the same. With the Breville Barista Touch you have control of your own cup.

Review: $1,500 CAD espresso machine. Price is okay for someone with financial restrictions but can afford to go a little bougie; its worth the money. It is a hands-off machine, you get to enjoy many different coffee drinks and the machine will time and produce coffee ground and will also time how long your milk gets frothed and at the right temperature. the milk frother is top notch in this machine unlikes it breville barista (non-automatic). This machine has 3 openings in its frother and so you get a lot of steam distributed more evenly from more power. you also dont have to hold the frother container, you leave it and it does the work for you.I also own the breville barista machine (more manual) and I really enjoy the hands-on element that I get to partake in every morning. its become a sacred morning routine and I love it! I brought the breville barista touch for the office as it allows for more options of coffee drinks while keeping a bit of the manual element in it (moving the portafilter from the grinder section to the espresso making). This machine produces great coffee on a budget and its target user is also for those who want to get in on the espresso machine trend without doing all of the manual work.

Review: I owned a very old DeLonghi and I switched to Breville. I love the machine. First, it heats up fast which helps when guests are waiting. Two, the touchscreen is a good guide when you are preparing your coffee. Three, it gives me a sense of achievement when I am an active participant in the brewing. Although I watched a lot of videos, make sure you get an expert demo in person, to understand the right grind size you want etc. So you can build confidence as a first time Barista. Enjoy your machine!

Review: I had the automatic Miele which tasted like plastic so, l returned it and bought the automatic Delongi it didnât get hot enough so, I took it back and ordered the Barista Touch. Itâs every bit as good as they claim it to be. Itâs a little more work than the automatic ones but I can get a steaming hot drink. Iâm still trying to get the brew just right to suit my taste. Still trying different coffees. I find it hard to do the 30 lbs of tamping pressure to make the coffee thatâs why I put the four stars. Not a fault of the machine. Just me. All in all I would recommend this coffee maker .
