Title: Great product for price!!
Review: Temp controls are great once figured it out. I saw posts on here saying that will not stay at temperature they want. This is a space heater and it does an excellent job, but depending on the room and outside temps, ours can run continually and only get a 62 room temperature when set at 68. Not realistic to expect a 2â space heater to overcome extreme room and outside temps when very cold. Also, do not expect this space heater to replace your furnace system that is designed to suck cold air out of room when it kicks on and begins sending warm air into room. It is a space heater not a whole house furnace system. That being said, I have three of these very comfortably heating about 800 sf as the only source of heat in Missouri and it was just a 3 below windchill. If unplug, have to reset both wattage AND temp buttons. Very easy to do, but it does not remember settings from before unplugged. Great product at a great price!! I ordered more after initial couple arrived. What I like most is how quiet it is – barely even know it is on.

Title: Good product
Review: I ordered this to replace a similar unit from Lasco which worked very well and was very quiet. This unit is even quieter. Essentially silent. It is also smaller and less expensive. Heats well. The only criticism I could make is that the digital temperature numbers are a little fuzzy and could be sharper. But for the benefit of having a silent heater, that’s not a real problem.

Title: Remote does not work, but unit does heat
Review: So far this is working fine. The high/low settings put out a good amount of heat. The temperature setting is working fine, once the air around it reaches the set temp the unit quietly shuts off.One thing to note, if the power goes out, the unit does not come back on. This could be an issue if you are using this to keep a space above freezing for the winter. Some heaters will come back on after the power is out, so you can be sure the space will not freeze, but this unit starts off in an unset or off setting and needs to manually be turned on.

Title: Works Well to Heat a Cooler Room in Our House
Review: We have hot water baseboard heat and the room at the end of the line is always a little too cool for the spouse. This is a better solution than added a permanent electric baseboard. We keep it at 500 watts and it makes a 9X12 room pretty toasty. The “thermostat” works about as well as others I’ve used . . . which means it doesn’t really work. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with it.

Title: Roll over safety off switch breaks off it’s mount and….
Review: This Model No. CZ650B, Black Comfort Zone Digital Baseboard Electric Heater has a design defect or two. Issue # 1 is the roll over safety off switch that breaks off it’s two FRAGILE plastic stand off mounts found inside the Heater’s Digital Display End Cap. The Heater’s end cap with the digital display has two delicate internal diameter plastic standoffs holding the safety tip over switch with two coarse screws stressing the two plastic standoff holes thus easily the under stress standoffs break off during shipping leaving the rollover switch to freely swing suspended by only wire harness zip ties. Then the heater will not turn on causing a defective request return. The Heater’s plastic end cap needs to be injection mold re-tooled to result in larger in diameter and more robust plastic standoffs so as not to allow the meger weight of the roll over switch when screw mounted on these two standoffs to both snap off below the screw threads length during normal shipping box impacts. This disabled safety switch , now swinging freely, may be an ETL / UL / US Consumer Protection / Local Fire Marshal safety concern if the heater stays on when tipped over. Issue # 2 is if your home’s electric flickers on and off this Heater’s digital electronics turns off then needing to be rest to turn back on because there is no momentary battery or capacitor power backup. This creates a manual repeat-repeat-repeat-repeat reset nuisance if a windy Day is cooling your home and electricity may frequently be cycling on and off as repeat flickers are typically happening in rural areas with overhead electric utility wires attached to wood poles.

Title: Thermostat needs a reset each time it’s turned on
Review: The heater seems to ignore the thermostat setting sometimes and to heat beyond the displayed setting. This seems to happen after the heat is turned off and later turned on again. It seems to work properly if I reset the thermostat each time I turn it on again. I keep it set on 74, it still displays a setting of 74, but I reset it by changing it up or down with the arrow buttons and returning it to 74.

Review: Works as expected. Silent operation. Plug-in design and size makes it easy to use in any room. Easy to set desired temperature with thermostat. Having the choice of 750w or 1500w operation is helpful. Some of the labels are not super easy to read in lower light. Directions a little confusing but not overly complex. Very satisfied so far after using for a week.
