Title: Great customer service
Review: We bought this griddle for personal use. The size is perfect, size and dimension works well. I had a question and contacted customer service and a response came right away. I actually had a dialogue going for a few days and these guys are really helpful, I have confidence in this company. This unit heats up nicely in 10-15 minutes and the heat stays consistant. I seasoned it as per the instructions and scrape and oil lightly between uses. So far I have made fried rice, many vegetables, hot dogs and burgers with the buns heated up and bacon and eggs all on repeat. I am planning on sausage and peppers this weekend. I love the easy clean up. I highly recommend this company and this griddle.

Title: Really great for portability. Hear me out!
Review: I got this because I operate a business where we cater barbeque at events such as a live music night at a local pub, as well as at various markets. This griddle is big enough to do the cooking for a catering crowd, while also being compact enough to fit into our trailer and light enough to move without too much stress. This has allowed us to branch out from our usual offerings of items like pulled pork in a bun and bowls with brisket mac n cheese. Now we can offer items such as quesadillas, BBQ cheesesteaks and toasted sandwiches. These have proven to be popular already and I’d estimate we’ve easily made our money back already.As with any griddle, this one has its hotter and cooler areas, which while on the surface sounds like a shortcoming, is a great asset. It allows for cooking at various temperatures as well as just keeping food warm on the edges. It warms up quickly and is ready to go in minutes, and hasn’t had any issues with long cooking sessions. Cleanup has been easy, as we just wash it off with water, let that cook off and then scrub it down with a stiff sponge.So if you are looking for ways to level up your mobile business, maybe keep this in mind!

Title: Probably not for hamburger based fast-food restaurants
Review: I used to manage a fast food Restaurant that sold ice cream and burgers for several years. So, my review comes from that experience. I think that there is a place for this countertop griddle. It probably does fine in certain Restaurant settings that need a smaller griddle for limited menu items. If you are doing high quantities of greasy foods like burgers, this is probably not the griddle for you, for several reasons. For starters, if you cannot use gas or propane in your setup, then you probably would want 240v because it will end up using less electricity in the long run and do a better job keeping up with demand. The other issue would be the size of the grease trap for collection from food and the water used during the cleaning process. It is pretty small and also is another indication that it is for someone who is not doing a lot of high volume of greasy foods. The hole used to drop the food and debris to the grease trap is also very small.This does really well in the outdoor patio/pavilion home setting for entertaining guests. I think that for home/personal use this is a great countertop griddle that you can get a lot of use out of and make food for several people all at once. I can also see where this would be useful for church and other social gatherings.Overall, I give it 4 stars because it works well and has its place, but also has some limitations.

Title: Awesome GriddleâWorks FantasticâGreat Design
Review: I was pleased to see this CROSSON 16 “x16” Commercial Electric Countertop Griddle was offered for me to order. For starters, this griddle is HEAVY! I used to have a similar griddle that was slightly larger than the CROSSON, and it was about 25 lbs vs the 45 lbs this one weighs. The difference is the 0.4-inch thick iron plate cooking surface. This grill takes a bit to heat up, as most true commercial griddles do. However, the upside is that it holds the heat much better. I can get a steak house quality sear with it. Something I was only able to do with my previous griddle if the steaks were small and at room temperature. In fact, I got a quick crusty sear on two frozen 1/3 lb hamburger patties cooked simultaneously.The grease hole guides the drippings into the grease tray, but ensure the trough is firmly pushed in. All four legs are adjustable (without the need for tools), which helps you to get it leveled to what suits you the best. The temperature dial is pretty accurate. I used three different thermometers, and although they did not all come up with the same temperature, they were all within their margin of error. And very close to what I had the grill set to (about 450°F). There are ventilation slots along the sides, but the outside can still get pretty hot, especially when set at a high temperature. It has a heavy-duty cord that is plenty long. A very sturdy stainless steel griddle spatula with a wooden handle is included.Regarding seasoning, I followed the instructions and had excellent results using grape seed oil. It takes several hours to season, so plan accordingly. I seasoned it in our outdoor kitchen, where it will be used 95% of the time.Conclusion: I’ve only had it for about two weeks, but I have used it several times, and so far, I am completely satisfied. The grill has exceeded my expectations, which is my primary requirement for an item to receive a five-star review. It is labeled for commercial use but lacks an NSF sticker. That’s not an issue if you’re using it residentially. As usual, if something causes me to rethink my rating, I will come back and update this review. The price point is reasonable, considering it has a thick iron plate, and as of this review, it has a $30 off coupon that can be added. I am happy to recommend this griddle.
