Title: Tiny bedroom solution with some add-ons to make it complete
Review: I had to turn my very small office into a tiny guest room for my college senior son as his cousin is taking up his room while he’s away at college, but needed to make accommodations for their eventual overlaps. My office is a tiny 7.5′ x 10′ space with very limited layout options. I assembled this bed with a hex drill bit and my impact driver, careful not to over tighten–this made assembly much easier. I installed a slide out keyboard shelf under the desk, and I ordered some cloth dressers that just fit perfectly under the desk. I mostly assembled this bed on my own, with my son popping in 4-5 times to help me hold something in place. Just be patient and take your time assembling, and the build will go smoothly. *Tip: a magnifying glass is handy for paying close attention to hole positions on the instructions, because they are important. Also, leave all parts and hardware in the bags they come in until the moment you need them, because only one part per bag is labeled. If you take them out of the bags, you’re likely going to lose track of what is what. ALSO: The wall bolt anchors this kit comes with are actually for masonry or concrete walls…if you have drywall, pick yourself up some Heavy Duty SnapToggle 1/4″ Toggle Bolts and 1 1/2″ x 1/4″ washers (you’ll also need a 1/2″ drill bit). This bed is extremely sturdy and stable once properly secured to the wall. I added a few things to make this more space efficient–all purchases I made from Amazon, that I will list here in case it helps anyone with similar space issues: XINLEI under desk keyboard tray, JUMEIHUI Bedside wall mount shelf, FDW 8in Twin Gel memory foam mattress, Sweetcrispy 5 Drawers Dresser, Sweetcrispy nightstand, Somdot 5 drawer Tall Dresser. IBUYKE 2 Tier Printer Stand. (Note I also have a 2″ thick bunkie board under the mattress–it’s not necessary, but I think it keeps the bed tidier–I’m mentioning it because it adds height to the mattress).

Title: Missing 2 M6-60mm bolts
Review: Loft bed is well built, however I only wish instructions manual was written better or material was marked to correlate with instructions, beside marking materials with just numbers. Because of this I had to disassemble bed twice during the build. Also package was missing 2 M6-60mm bolts, it did come with spares, but only 1 M6-60mm, so I had to order M6-60 bolt pack just for 1 bolt, through Amazon for $10. I can live with instructions comfussion, but missing bolts is a big no no. Other wise I would have given 5 stars.

Title: Really Nice Loft Bed

Title: Not impressed.
Review: I took a chance on this bed by its looks, when there were not yet any reviews. Assembling the bed I am less than impressed with the fastener system. Maybe this was designed by some product engineer somewhere that understanding the tactile strength of screw and nut threads, but I am not comfortable with only 4/5 threads being fastened. I have doubts of longevity endurance with wiggling kids climbing up and down. I will try to add a picture of the fasteners.Once this was assembled, it was, semi sturdy, but it is light enough that climbing up the ladder, I would be concerned with the bed tipping. Included are two anchors that require 10mm holes drilled into the wall for drywall anchors. Nope. I am not drill holes into my wall to secure this bed. Stupid.Speaking of climbing up and down the ladder. The rungs are tiny, square rungs that were very uncomfortable to my child’s feet.I will not be keeping this bed. Unfortunately, I will also not be returning this bed, as the return shipping cost is on me. I am not willing to pay to ship a 100lb parcel back to the manufacturer. Either way, I will chalk this purchase up to a “stupid tax.”

Title: Hard to build, but sturdy bed.
Review: I purchased this for a tiny NYC bedroom.The overall build quality is great, and the bed feels strong. My only gripe with the design is that having a vertical ladder, it is a bit hard to get in and out of.The instructions to build this thing are incredibly unclear. We built this bed wrong at least 4 times. We expected this to take around an hour, as the seller says it takes about 40 minutes to build. In reality, it took closer to 6, mostly due to the unclear instructions. Several bolts in the package were mislabeled, and it is incredibly easy to mount parts backwards, causing holes to not align.I would imagine if I had to build this again with knowledge of how it goes together. it would take around an hour and a half.Please revise your assembly manual. I think this is a great product with poor instructions.

Title: My son loves it!
Review: My 9 year old sonâs room is very small so this bed has been perfect for us to create the extra space he needs. I gave 4 stars because it was difficult to assemble, nearly taking us all day. We realized at the very end that we had messed up on one of the very first steps so we had to go back and redo our work. Clearer directions would be helpful. Itâs also very wobbly so anchoring it to the wall is a must. The ladder steps hurt his feet so we purchased some peel and stick ladder pads off Amazon as well which has worked out great and solved that problem. Overall, my son loves this bed and I do not regret our decision at all. If youâre thinking of purchasing, I would definitely recommend it. Just plan on having some patience during assembly and getting something to help with the hard metal ladder steps.
