Title: Better than a V6
Review: Replaced a V6 Dyson. The new unit seems to work a lot better on carpet. It also has a different system to empty the dust. So far it has been much better that on the V6 which was primitive, at best. The new dump system is much more conveinent, but still not impressive. But my wife likes the light weight and cord free features, which is the important features for her.

Title: Best Vacuum I have!
Review: Just buy it! It is worth every penny. I purchased three of them one for myself and the other two for my daughters in law. We all have dogs, and vacuuming daily is a must! I own Sharks, Mieles, and this cordless is by far my favorite! The suction has two settings and is perfect for hardwood floors and carpets. It is light enough to use on my staircase which has always been a pain. The quality is what you would expect from a Dyson, excellent! It was so easy to put together, and fits perfectly in the corner of my kitchen where I see it every day and just keep cleaning!

Title: Good vacuum with a catch
Review: I am a fan of Dyson vacuums and have purchased multiple for home and work. This is the first time I bought one that did not come with the docking station to hang it. I did not realize this until it was unpacked. Of course I now see I can purchase one for an additional $25. I wish it was just included.

Title: Battery died in 10.5 months. “NOT COVERED under warranty”
Review: I just went to use my dyson vacuum that I had actually been loving so far, (Battery life is meh, but suction and cleaning is good.), and got a blinking red light. Upon calling customer service, I’m told it’s my battery (I have meticulously followed their instructions in the care guide to extend the battery life of the vacuum.), and that only the motor is covered under the warranty, mind you this vacuum is 10.5 months old.. My two options are: drive 185 miles to a service center, or I can pay ~$108 for a new one, but since I’m under warranty they’ll give me a “generous” 20% off offer bringing it to ~$83.After feeling thoroughly ripped off I asked the representative if he was telling me that Dyson was not guaranteeing a $300+ product for even a year, which he replied this was a fringe case and there was nothing he could do. I then asked to talk to his manager, which he told me didn’t exist, I rebuffed him on that claim and he put me on hold. After 5 minutes he came back and told me his “manager” that previously didn’t exist was going to give me a 1 time courtesy battery because this was such a “fringe” case.I’m glad I get the free battery, but I know if anyone else in family had been in the same situation they would have felt they had no other choice but to buy this battery for 1/3 of the cost of the original vacuum. I will not be purchasing another Dyson and I will make sure no one I know does either.TLDR;The battery didn’t last 11 months, and Dyson tech support are condescending and try their best to sell you a $100+ battery replacement because “it’s not covered”.

Title: I would never use a regular vacuum again.
Review: This thing is a blessing, cleaning on carpet has never been easier. The vaccuum is so light, so easy to use, it’s worth every penny. Not having to drag a cord around behind you saves you a huge headache. It can pick up small and big pieces, and thoroughly collects dust, cat hair, human hair and crumbs. The compartment you need to empty is extremely easy to use, you pull the red tab and the bottom unclasps. I usually do this above a garbage. Built very thoughtfully. Suction is great, two modes, Max and regular !

Review: 2 year update: I love this vacuum. I recommend it to my family, because of the fact that there’s no cord and so many attachments.I have a small house, maybe 1100 sq ft, I’m not sure but it’s small. I say this because, the battery is not reliable. Sometimes I can charge it and it will last me through two rooms, and sometimes, it last the whole house.After 2 years, I have learned that this vacuum should be used in steps- based on the accessories.The long vacuum part should be used for carpetsThe long skinny one for cracks and crevicesThe small long rectangle one is for furniture, but I like to use it if my daughter crunches cheese it’s in the floor, it’s great for messes in carpet.Would also be good for deep cleaning, but the battery wouldn’t last.I don’t use the one with the extendable brush, it’s small, I would think it’s good for dusting? But I can’t find a good use for it. Lamp shades, maybe?The battery lasts different depending on which accessory you use, so the long vacuum doesn’t usually last through my whole house, I guess because it powers both the top and bottom of the vacuum.The long skinny crevice one, it lasts a while!Overall, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat, but not if I had a big house, you would want multiple. But if you can afford that, I’d have one on every floor.Original review belowVery durable, very convenient… not very powerful, and the battery life is sooo bad.I read the reviews before buying this, I mean it is an expensive a$$ vacuum, so I knew that the battery life wasn’t anything to write home about, but seeing as I live in a 1000sqft house, I didn’t think I would have to worry about it.Wrong. I never get through the house without it dying and when it does die, it’s sudden. No warnings, just… dead.Also it’s important to know that when it stops running, sometimes it’s not dead, it’s just clogged.There is a switch to change it from high powered to normal power so that could help the battery life.And you don’t just turn it on and go, you have to pull the trigger the entire time.For the money I spent on this I would’ve bought an off brand, higher powered, more practical vacuum that I wouldn’t have cared had it only lasted a year.I’m stuck with this dyson now, but I’m not thrilled about it.Please let me know if you found this review helpful!

Review: Fitted V7 to my bedroom wall, and used extensively over the past few weeks since purchase. Have used with attachments for cobwebs etc… on ceilings, and excellent for the carpets and the super suction is fantastic. Also I have a V7 for downstairs which I purchased about 2 years ago and this also has been perfect. Great for cleaning stairs using attachments. Thanks

Review: This thing sucks! But in a good way. Much better than the other knock offs I’ve tried. Dyson is worth the money. I was a little disappointed it didn’t come with a wall mounted docking/charging station, but amazon has that too.
