Title: had 2 for over 3 years, work great, great value
Review: Circulated air better than we expected without a fan. Yes, some initial smell but it went right away. After the first couple years, the corners of the aluminum backing sheet peeled up some. I pressed them back onto the wall, all fixed.Purchased two for my grandmother’s room when she was no longer safe with her standard little space heater – in the middle of the night flammable things found their way in front. We replaced with these plus a heating rug under her bed. Nice, even temp everywhere for her, bed never cold without any wires to annoy her in her sheets.No idea why temp control is mentioned at all; you have to get a separate thermostat. I was happy with the cheapest dial one, just bumped it a little until I got the temp I wanted.

Title: Works well but wish it had a fan.
Review: I put this in a small bathroom. It works well but takes a while to heat. Wish it had a fan to move the heat around. Oh well.

Title: Very efficient heating
Review: Have used several of these heaters before. 250watts was perfect for a small bathroom with no other heat source. Other wattages are an available too. I have painted these in the past too to fit decor and blend into walls. Very pleased.

Review: My relationship with this heater is like the one I had with my ex-husband; I’m drawn to the heat but I know damn well it’s toxic and the headache it gives me may not be worth it in the end.OK, I saw the reviews that mentioned the smell before I bought it but I really thought that it would obviously go away after a few hours or even days of use and that y’all were just not cut out for persistence. (***in my most sing-songy voice, “I know he acts like a bad boy, but I really think, with time and the love of a good woman, he will mature.”). But I bought this thing several months ago, have used it about 10 times and the chemical, possibly toxic fumes it gives off are still atrocious! The first two days I powered through it, leaving it on for about 9 hours each day. I had to open the windows to vent out the smell. SURELY it would burn off whatever chemicals are on this thing.No, not yet.I use it very infrequently now and for short bursts, only when I REALLY need some warmth (which it is wonderful at providing) and within 15 minutes of use I have a headache. Will this ever burn off? I don’t know, but I’m stubborn and paid way too much money for this thing to let it go without use and now it’s too late to return it. It is now a battle of wills.It’s a great HEATER though. Nice, warm, radiant heat and it softly warms the area. I have it installed under my standing desk to warm my feet when I’m working. It FEELS lovely. I can get my feet within inches of the surface and they are warm without being dangerously hot. I did actually rest one foot against it one day and … yeah, that was a bit too hot after a bit. All in all it feels safe for a variety of uses – well except for the toxic chemical release into the air.I stuck it out with my ex for 23 years. I wonder how long this relationship will last.

Title: Really bad smell !
Review: Bought this a year ago. Took several days with windows wide open before it was tolerable and then used it for the cold months. Now a year later it still smells so bad even after two days turned on with windows open. Certainly canât warm the room if have to leave windows open!Now the third year brought out the heater for a small space and the smell is even worse than before.It is so bad, intolerable, that finally decided to throw it out. Very horrible product!

Title: One of the best purchases Iâve ever made.
Review: Let me start off by saying I had low expectations of the amount of heat this would put off. My main goal was low wattage but one that would keep things warm in our RV. I bought two. One for the living room / kitchen area, and one for our bedroom / bathroom. I only needed one. The night prior to the arrival of the heater I was frozen beneath a heavy down comforter. Installed the heater with no problems in the living room area, went to bed and I slept with no blankets at all. The heater was in another room. I eventually woke up and turned it off for now. It didnât trip any RV breakers in its power consumption. Mind boggled how well it works. I plan to recommend it to everyone this winter. At 250 watts it is so energy efficient. I read about peopleâs complaints with a smell. Our only smelled like 20 minutes as any new heater would. No issues with it. My kitties keep laying near it. They are loving a cozy zone. I also appreciate how it cycles air from an entire space, not just immediately in front of it. Please donât ever stop selling these. People need an affordable heating source!

Title: Cracked after a year
Review: Heat radiates pretty well. I wouldn’t exactly expect it to heat much of the room but it gets pretty hot at the top. Noise level is absolute 0 which is really nice. Issue is after about a year of it being on the wall it cracked. There is a 3 year warrenty however contacting the company has been a huge hassle. When signing up for the warranty you’ll get an automatic email asking you to direct defects to support@amazeheaters.com. That was a bust, email does not exist. So I go to their website, find a phone number and customerservice@amazeheaters.com to use instead…. their site says we are at your disposal 7 days a week yet office hours are m-f 9-8 what I believe to be est. Okay so calling the phone number to get to customer service tells you to instead email the address mentioned above. Okay so emailing customer service (again) I get a response rather promptly asking for the back of the heater as well… that was 3 weeks ago now. I have yet to hear anything back even after follow-up emails.That said, product works… but pray you don’t have to contact these guys…
