Title: Many features — packed into a small package
Review: I received this watch as a gift about 6 months ago. I’m giving it 5 stars, because I love the sleep tracking features, and the smart wake. I also exercise by walking. This morning I went out on a stroll and it tracked every step of my 2 mile hike. It was an urban hike. I reached my target heart rate by the time I looped around. I didn’t know that it was 2 miles until today. From what I read, it doesn’t work so well with an iPhone. I have a Pixel 6, which runs Android, and I haven’t had any issues. The one thing I don’t understand is that some people have been reviewing it at a lower overall rating than I was expecting. I think it may have something to do with wrist size. I have the band at the largest setting, and it sits a bit loosely on the back of my wrist. I have never had any problems getting the sensors to work at that level of tightness (well, looseness). It does come with two different sizes of bands, so you may want to try both, if you have a medium to small wrist size.I have never had any quality issues with the watch. I love the sleep tracker. It tracks down to the nearest minute, and with the Fitbit app, you can see how much waking time, REM, light sleep, and deep sleep. I need it the most to figure out when I was sleeping, and the quality of my sleep. I have no issues with it, at all.I almost gave it 4 stars, because it has a small and narrow screen, and in order to use some of the features, you have to scroll. up, down, left, right, and multiple screens. I don’t need most of these features, but they are nice to have. I learned that I have a normal sinus heart rhythm, and I’m not overly stressed.Anyhow, I could write more, but you get the picture. You should probably read some of the reviews, to get a better impression (not just 5-star ones).Good luck!

Title: Replaced my Apple Watch with Charge 6, happy
Review: Bought January 2024. So, I have had an Apple Watch since 2017. I LOVED it. But I didnât love the battery time. The things I was interested in, like sleep tracking, I couldnât do because it needed to charge or I couldnât use it the next day. My mom has a Fitbit and for years was telling me to get one. After some health issues, I needed to start being more cognizant of my health. I didnât want to spend another $5-600 on an Apple Watch that at most gets 2 days of battery now. I was interested in the Oura ring, but I have 60 lbs. to lose and those canât be sized as you lose weight. So I researched and found the Fitbit Charge 6 was my best choice.Mostly proâs. It is really comfortable. When I fell asleep accidentally with the Apple Watch my wrist was sore after. So far, Iâm getting 6-7 days of charge out of it, which is a game changer. I now donât miss days of tracking because I forgot to charge it.I feel like the screen size is appropriate and itâs well made. Iâm not sure about the accuracy, but reviews Iâve watched where people test them they seem close enough. And thatâs good enough for me, I want a baseline. You can adjust the haptics for notifications, I have it on the hardest vibration and itâs awesome. Itâs easy to read the screen, just 2 taps. It says you can water lock it for swimming/shower but I havenât utilized that yet.The app⦠okay so when I purchased this (January 2024) they offered the premium app for 6 months free, then $80 a year. I will be keeping the premium. It still can be used without, but I want ALL the metrics you can get as well as meditations and workouts. It has replaced MyFitnessPal because I can track everything in this app. It also links with my Bluetooth scale. You can track steps, miles, calories, exercise, activity minutes (150 minutes a week as recommended), standing activity by getting up every hour for 250 steps, (it reminds you). SpO2, HRV, skin temp., HR, sleep (including stages). Iâm sure Iâm forgetting something. I havenât used the GPS function which I heard drains the battery significantly.Somewhat cons, or things I would appreciate it having. This device is logged in through Google. I do see messages and notifications from my iPhone 13, but are unable to respond which is fine. You can control YouTube music, but not your Apple Music. Itâs Just an adjustment from my Apple Watch. Iâm also not able to sync it with Apple Maps because I hate Google maps. And I havenât figured out how to use that between my phone and the Fitbit yet even after watching tutorials. I wish they had more watch faces to choose from, I think there was about 12?. I just felt like the one I picked was as close to what I wanted, but it wasnât. The time takes up a large portion of the screen which I feel like is unnecessary. What I feel the app is lacking is something to track when youâve taken your meds. If they did, this app would literally be a one stop shop for my health/fitness tracking. Note: a comment someone made about med tracking was just set an alarm. The problem is that if you are someone like me that is never at the same place everyday, you could turn the alarm off and then forget later whether or not you took them. Itâs a really quick fix they could do.I HIGHLY recommend the Charge 6, I wish I had listened to my mom and got it a while ago. The few things I gave up by switching from my Apple Watch is minor. Iâm not missing them other than Apple Maps and Music.

Title: Easy sight
Review: I Love the display screen with large colorful numbers. I also appreciate the ease with which I can look at my stats. However, the other functions are not easily accessible and require going to the website to learn how to use them. This is not a dealbreaker for me because most of the other functions are fluff.

Review: This closer-to-60-than-50 obese guy with Type 2 diabetes gets a call from his doctor saying “I need to see you sooner than later”. My glucose levels are spiralling out of control. That triggered a need to get real data on what’s happening with my body, especially the perception that my sleep cycles are suffering. I NEEEDED DATA! This particular Fitbit product went above and beyond expectations in terms of bio-feedback, especially in terms of a detailed break-down my no-sleep, REM, light-sleep & deep sleep stages each and every night. The food intake recording system in the app is as good as the paid service that Weight Watchers offers with a HUGE library of both grocery store (barcode lookups) and restaurant-menu items. And I can record my glucose levels in the app too. This is a TOTAL SYSTEM that truly feeds a data-oriented mind with EVERYTHING they need. The Fitbit device itself is easy to use and has USEFUL tools inside of it: a get-up-and-move-around reminder, timer, exercise distance/time/burn tracking, an actual ECG recorder (VERY KOOL), alarm, and real-time steps, calorie burn, BLUETOOTH messages from your phone (texts, call indicator, reminders, etc) WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT – huge ROI ** IF ** you learn to use it and max out its features to inspire healthier behaviors. It won’t lose weight for you. It won’t correct your blood sugars for you. BUT it won’t lie to you either – figures don’t lie but liars figure, right? It comes with a free PREMIUM membership for a year giving you all kinds of additional resources such as vast library of workout, medication and wellness resources. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED as long as you WORK IT!!! OH, and I’ve lost almost 10 pounds in 30 days WORKING IT – and I’ll share that it’s not because I exercised more. It’s because I had REAL and TRUE data that showed my calories IN was more than calories OUT. It’s my health dashboard now – just like in your car. I know when I’m going beyond the speed limit and I need to slow down or stop altogether.

Review: Why did the Fitbit Charge 6 win me over?1) It holds a charge for a lot longer compared to any watch. I need to charge it only every 7 days or so (depending on which features you keep active) Compared to an Apple Watch that needs charging pretty much every day.2) And it charges back up quickly. Less 1.5 hours and youâre good to go for another 7 days.3) Its size. It is not bulky. I find the watches to feel a bit chunky on me. This is small and comfortable enough that I quickly came to not noticing that I am wearing it. I can sleep with it comfortably (and thatâs important for me as tracking my sleep is important to me)And it just looks more discrete on my arm.4) It gives me a lot of health information and easily tracks my running and other fitness without going overboard. Personally I do not need the extent of detail you would find with something like the Garmin.5) It is very user friendly. You donât need to be a super techy to operate. Itâs easy to sync with your phone right out of the box. Then I watched a couple great YouTube videos on the basics to learn even more about all the functions and features. The more I use this the more I like it. It has definitely helped me improved my health. Iâve learnt variables that affect my health that I didnât know about.Iâve not yet signed up for the free six months of the premium membership because I wanted to see what I get without it. You get loads without it!I wonât go in to all the functions here but take a look at them and see if it gives you what you want. If so, then I would definitely recommend this Charge 6.I find all the functions work well. Iâve not had any problems with any of them. Yes I am very happy with my purchase!

Review: Great battery life with the nice and simple Fitbit app makes this a great watch. The health tracker is also pretty good for running, and biking, not so much for strength training as it’s not accurate at all. The sleep tracker is correct for a timeline of my sleep but don’t rely on it for sleep stage tracking. Definitely the fitness watch to get in it’s price range.
