Title: A replacement for a failed in cabinet unit
Review: This has worked very well as a replacement for our failed in cabinet unit. It was a little larger, primarily in depth, than our previous unit, but that was easily addressed by widening the hole in the back of the cabinet. We got it on sale, so the price wasnât bad compared to other comparable units. It took a few minutes to realize that the child safety switch could be turned off permanently, so that it could more easily be turned on. My wife loves it because of its larger capacity and faster cooking time than our previous unit. The satin finish goes well with our other appliances.

Title: ok product at reasonable price
Review: This is the 2nd time I have purchased this microwave as my first one went out after using for about 5 years. The microwave is large enough to fit larger dish sizes and powerful enough to cook or warm food items quickly. I am only rating this a 4 because when first using this product, the door drug slightly when closing as well as turntable appeared to not rotate consistently. Both of these issues has cleared up with use but the quality control appears to be less than expectations. So far after a couple of months, the unit is working satisfactorily.

Title: quality and reliability
Review: we had our last microwave which was the same model of 13 years and changed it out due to wear and tear although it still worked great. I was a bit disappointed in finding out that this was made in China, not the USA.

Title: Very Roomy and Fast Cooking
Review: Nice functions. Roomy. Easy to Clean. Could improve, with a color distinction on the 30 second key and the Start and Stop keys on the pad. This model has a variation in the small LED display, from one version of it to a later version of it. One is better than the other. I’m on the second one in about 5 years, just due to power surges in our neighborhood. Bought a second one, to fit the built-in surround component. But we also like the device size, power, and features quite a lot.

Title: The child lock is horrible
Review: This microwave is a lot harder to operate than it should. Not all of us have kids that are not looked after that requires a child lock.It should NOT be this hard to merely OPEN the dam thing.Also, this is the 2nd GE microwave that I have gone through in the past 3 weeks.Stay away, stay away!!! This is ridiculous!!!!!the instructions that came with it don’t tell you about the little button on the side.Ya, there’s a friggen button on the side NOT found in ANY of the instructions. Not even YouTube had this special little secret nugget of infoRidiculous
