The PIXEL HOUSE was built to house a big family with three couples and two kids. The design balances giving the family members privacy while also having shared spaces for everyone to be together.

The house’s design was inspired by the basic building block of digital images, called a pixel. Even though it has this digital inspiration, the house is still very connected to nature.

The house is made up of different levels and sections stacked on top of each other. This creates some private areas as well as places for the whole family to gather. There are also gardens and outdoor spaces inside the house.

The materials used, like stone, concrete, and paint, help keep the house cool. There are also shaded balconies and overhangs to deal with the local climate.

The main entrance has a concrete canopy with square cut-outs that shows the pixel design. Lights inside make cool patterns of light and shadow.

Inside, there is a nice entryway that leads to the main staircase area. The stairs have planters next to them that make it feel like a garden.

The inside uses simple but nice materials like stone, wood, and exposed brick. These go well with the modern furniture and art. Overall, the house balances privacy for the family members with shared spaces for them to come together.
