Title: Definitely More Than a Phone Stand!
Review: It’s sold as a Phone Stand, but there’s more!! The stand is great for zoom or face-time as it’s very sturdy and eliminates disruptions from falling phones. I enjoy the nice sound quality as the device is small, but the sound is big. A fun and enjoyable feature is also the alarm clock as it has a retro feel for me, but absolutely modern. When you connect to Bluetooth, a woman’s voice from device confirms connection like Siri’s talking to you. The instructions are detailed and allows for direction on every feature.There are two features that I would consider as cons.1. Trying to charge the device: The instructions state power indicator light is solid red while charging, and then solid green when fully charged. However, I could only obtain a blinking red light, and never received a green light at all. I unsuccessfully tried to fully charge device for at least a minimum of 3 hours. When Bluetooth was connected, it did indicate device was charged 90%. Instruction pamphlet does not address a blinking red light.2. Trying to dim the time display: The light from time setting is dimmable by three levels. The brightest level is set as default. It’s possible to dim the brightness, however the lower level of brightness just reverts to brightest default setting after a few seconds. There’s no way to change default to lower level of brightness. So, the time display is a bright nightlight which may be annoyingly uncomfortable for some.Even though there are a few annoying cons for this device, there’s still much desired in the featured highlights. So, I’m removing only 1 star and rating this item with 4 stars. It’s a very nice device to have and enjoy.

Title: Great, great device!
Review: I’m loving the Joymate in black. It took me a minute to connect my smart phone to it but that was because of my brain LOL.The Joymate provides a small footprint with powerful speakers. Once I connected my phone via Bluetooth to the Joymate, and selected a YouTube video, the sound output from the Joymate vs. my cellphone was about a 60+% increase. That means if I listened to the video with my cellphone volume only maxed, I had to have my ear about 3′ from my phone. With the Joymate connected and cellphone volume up, I could walk 15′ away and hear the video via the Joymate speakers better than standing 3′ with cellphone only. This means I can multitask (dishes, running water, dryer going) and still hear!The VERY cool thing is that when you first plug in the Joymate a 24-hour time will appear and it’s not correct. Instead of going through the manual to set the time, all you have to do is connect your smartphone via Bluetooth and the Joymate adopts your phone’s time. Brilliant!!It’s really well made. There’s a holder for your phone (any size and with or without a case) but you can have your phone in your pocket because with Bluetooth it doesn’t matter. (You can connect tablets, etc. as well).I love that the time is displayed. I think I am looking at the time all day long and that saves me from turning my phone on or squinting at a smaller time like say on the oven. I recommend this one!

Title: Works well for what I needed it for
Review: I wish it came with instructions, which is the reason Iâm docking a star. Yes I was able to figure it out, but I would always prefer written directions so I donât accidentally break something. This didnât come with a charging cable but itâs a very common one so that wasnât a problem for me.I am getting back into teaching dance, but at a place where Iâve never been before. Iâm not familiar with the sound equipment and I wanted to have a speaker that I could manage on my own without help. After using it today, it was exactly what I needed! It isnât heavy because thereâs not a charger built in for the phone. The part that holds the phone is sturdy and has grippy bits on it so the phone doesnât slip around. As a teacher on a time limit, I really appreciate the clock face being large and clear. I was worried about the volume being loud enough, but I was able to have it as loud as I needed with decent quality. I donât plan to use it to answer phone calls so I canât speak to that aspect. For everything else though, I have been very happy! This is a very handy and super portable speaker that I will be using for a long time.

Title: Packs a powerful punch in such small package!
Review: This little device packs quite a powerful punch! Itâs small but mighty! It has plenty of features for the price, easily connects to device Bluetooth, and its compact size make it a definitely MUST HAVE item. The sound quality is awesome! It definitely gives just as good sound quality as my $99 Boom model portable speaker. I especially like the ability to turn off the clock and visible display of the speaker while it still works. You can control the sound via your phone buttons or on the speaker which is also a nice feature to have. The short time I had it charged using the USB provider cord was ample enough to watch a long move without the battery running out. The design is sound. The phone sits very well without worry of it easily falling off the stand. This speaker and stand will also adjust to fit an iPad as well. I cannot recommend this highly enough for hands-free watching or device use. I plan to gift this item during this upcoming holiday season. Of course though, I am keeping one for myself. This speaker works just as well & has plenty of functionality for the price. Donât hesitate in ordering it today.
