B0D9ZRH61T, Roomba Combo® 10 Max robot + AutoWash™ dock is our most powerful cleaning robot yet. It vacuums with 100% more suction power*, mops back-and-forth with downward pressure—and learns which rooms get dirty fastest and gives them the deep cleaning they deserve. With advanced smart navigation, it knows how to get around any home and clean each area in the optimal way. Even the dock is smart, automatic bin emptying, liquid refills, washing the mop pad, and pumping clean water through the dock to ensure it stays clean. When your cleaning robot is designed smarter, it makes your life easier…., 3, Reviewer: shcommish

Title: Works Great
Review: Rosie, our iRobot is great. It cleans well, although it is not perfect. We did have to map our house out a couple of times but after that it did well. The best part is it cleans under the furniture and gets all those dust bunnies that can not be reached easily with a regular vac. We used to have a dog that would clean all the crumbs off the floor and this is the next best thing.

Title: I really wanted to like it
Review: I’m returning the Combo 10. I’m returning it on day 29 because I really wanted to like it. In practice, it’s been a miserable experience beginning with the setup and continuing up to the point of me writing this review.- While my first roomba easily connected to wifi, this one took me an hour to get connected and up to date- The initial mapping takes quite a bit of time – that’s fine. The bigger issue is that when it made a mistake in the initial mapping, my only option was to tell it to start over, requiring another 2+ hours of the machine wandering around- All this would be fine if the machine cleaned well, but it just doesn’t. The machine failed between 1 in 3 and 1 in 4 runs (and frequently multiple times within a run). I consistently got erroneous cleanbase clogged error – it wasn’t. What I was able to determine was that the vacuum bag gets when when doing both mopping and vacuuming. The wet bag means there’s increased air resistance which the machine interprets as a clog- The lack of lidar meant that the robot required me to have all the lights on so it could correctly navigate. It also seemed to not really understand where there was mud tracked in- The robot itself required a lot of cleaning on its own. I have two cats and a dog that doesn’t shed. My wife and daughter both have long hair which was consistently a challenge for the machine- The mopping never worked well and the base leaked, though in fairness, that may have been that I kept being told by the app to turn it over to try to clear the clog. Incidentally, the app kept giving me the wrong support article, corresponding to the J9 not the 10 combo- On a whim, I decided to start experimenting with running the vacuum and mopping concurrently – that seemed to avoid the erroneous clog error, but it take a lot of extra time, particularly with the charge time that’s required. Much to my frustration, the robot started to complain that it wasn’t on a level surface and required it to be moved. It’s a perfectly level tile floor. It just doesn’t work well- The mop pad never gets dry (or clean for that matter) – as a result it started to get musty over time- The final straw for me was the fact that despite multiple outreaches, I never got any response from customer service other than the automated Zendesk ticket email. That’s not acceptable for any company, and certainly not for a $1399 deviceIn the end I did really want to like the device – my family was skeptical, given our previous experience (the old i-series ran over a cat accident and smeared it across our kitchen). The P.O.O.P. promise gave me some comfort, but given my experience over the last almost month, that seems naive.iRobot has clearly fallen behind the other manufactures – the Combo 10 feels like a rushed, half-baked product. It is clearly not in the same class as manufacturers like Dreame or Roborock (both of which have advanced lidar systems). Avoid and pick a different manufacturer.

Title: For the price, there are much better products
Review: The quickstart guide is thick but it’s lacking a lot of info that they could have just printed. My autowash dock wasn’t emptying the bin but no error given and it wasn’t refilling the water tank but did give an alignment error. It’s due to the poor instructions. I inserted the brush tray with the roller into the dock, but you need to insert the tray first then insert the roller ensuring you put it on the sub on the left side. Ultimately it was my mistake but this was due to the poor instructions for it which didn’t have any printed words, just poor picture diagrams. When I fixed it, I had to soak up water that was on the bottom of the tray.So that solved those problems, however sometimes the dock couldn’t empty the bin even though it’s very loud and sounds like it has lots of suction. I had to manually empty the bin full of pet fur, even after manually running empty bin a few times. The drying mop pad function is a loud humming sound. I had the dock at the end of my living room because there is no other place for it except for in my office. It runs for hours and doesn’t actually seem to dry the pad real well. The mopping function, if you could really call it that is poor. It’s basically no better than running a wet swiffer mop over an area, in fact I would say it’s worse. It doesn’t suck up the dirty water like my old scooba. I feel that besides auto-empty and auto-refill, this is a big step backwards. It is quieter than my old roomba 980 which might have been defective it was so loud, and due to that I barely used it and it would get stuck often.Sadly not much has changed. iRobot lacks innovation. I bought this before I really did my research on the latest robovacs. Their competitors, including new entrants offer an even quiter robot, quieter dock, all the same features and more features for either the same price point or less. I bought this on sale for 1K and I’m basing it off that price point. I can’t imagine spending 1.5K on this. It doesn’t have lidar so mapping takes much longer and it still basically just VSLAMS into things.I replaced it with an S1 pro which is miles better in mopping, it sucks up the dirty water, has lidar, and both the unit and dock are much quieter. It also doesn’t need to constantly bump into things.I hope iRobot turns around because their competitors are much more advanced at this point and there are many models that do the same things for much less. Back to amazon this goes. A shame because I had a scooba (which was fantastic for the time), a 980 (very loud and I had to constantly pull fur from the the brushes chamber that wouldn’t go into the dust bin), and a braava jet 240 (meh).

Review: Bought it. Tried to love it as we loved so much our old iRobot vacuum. This is the worst of the worst. It is constantly stuck everywhere. It never learns. It vacuums it’s own water, creating mold inside of it and needs constant/daily care to be able to work. The lights needs to be on in your rooms for this to work. Yes, you read correctly, it cannot see in the dark.
