Title: Absolutely amazing!
Review: Hey y’all, I have to product brag for a moment….. This can opener, made by Kitchen Mama and available on Amazon is the most amazing kitchen tool ever!!!It’s smooth, no sharp edges, so so easy to use.For someone who has a hand deficit (I had multiple strokes), this can opener is a game changer!!! One handed and I can open as many cans as I want. Yes, that’s right, one handed! My roommate can now rest a little and not have to open any more cans! LOL* I am not being paid by Kitchen Mama for this review. LOL it’s just that good!!!

Title: Great for arthritic hands
Review: My latest arthritis situation was such that I could not use my Swing-a-way manual can opener. I had to ask husband to open all the cans. This was obviously inconvenient. We saw this can opener on a tv commercial, and decided to order one. It’s wonderful! I never wanted an electric can opener, but I am so glad we got this battery operated one. It’s easy to use and it’s really neat and safe as it cuts the whole top off the can leaving a smooth edge.

Title: Appears to work but could use explicit instructions
Review: When it did not seem to work properly, I complained and wrote to the company, and they were very responsive to my questions and concerns. I think most of the problem was that the instructions and/or manual was not clear enough. Therefore I couldn’t get it to clearly open a can. I would now advise the company to be explicit about the surprises a customer might experience straight up, and up front. It DOES work in a way very different from what we’re used to in can openers. In any case, when I saw a video of a person’s hands using the product, and actually lifting the lid, I saw it actually did work. By then we’d begun to return and refund. If I were to buy it again, I think I’d like a corded model rather than battery power.I 1st wrote: Would have liked it if it worked, but it did NOT open a can 1st time I used it…etc., etc.If you purchase this, find the how-to video as I think that will help you see how it works!

Title: Love it!
Review: I had surgery on my right arm, my dominant hand, and needed a way to open cans while in recovery. This was perfect and now (after healed) I still love this can opener. I have problems using my hands and this really helps me in the kitchen. Itâs super easy, works just like the video, and even though it runs on battery it doesnât use the battery unless itâs in use. (Iâve had some products slowly zap the life out of batteries when left in, this doesnât!).

Title: Great for what it is, but nothing lasts forever!
Review: We’ve used our opener casually for the last four years (since we don’t eat much canned food), replacing the batteries when needed. It’s worked well, if a little noisy. The last month though, it’s stopped cutting the rim on cans we’ve tried and after much fiddling, still does not do it’s job. I hate to toss it, but there is not much else we can do with it. So, I will search for something else as a manual version working on the same principle I purchased is a little too hard for my wife to use. Nice tool, for awhile…

Title: Works great, until it doesn’t
Review: I ordered my first can opener May 2023 – it lasted until January 24, at which time I ordered a new one. That one lasted until yesterday, 12/1/24 when it stopped going around the can. It’s not a case of the batteries not working. In both cases, it seems the “wheel” is now at an angle (although it’s not been damaged) and doesn’t catch the top of the can so that it can move around the can. Using a manual can opener is hard on my hands – the Pampered Chef manual opener worked (and still does) for years. I’m glad I kept it as a back up because there is no warning about when this one will not work correctly. Sadly, I’ll need to purchase a diferent brand.

Title: Second time purchasing
Review: This Kitchen Mama Auto Electric Can Opener is truly a game changer, especially for anyone with arthritis or wrist issues. Iâve found it so helpfulâjust a simple press of a button, and it opens cans smoothly without any effort. This is actually my second one, as my first one stopped working after about six months, which was disappointing. But I ended up buying it again because itâs been such a lifesaver in the kitchen. Itâs easy to use, saves me a lot of strain, and the smooth edge leaves no sharp parts to worry about. If durability could improve, it would be perfect for anyone needing a hands-free solution!

Review: I fell down on the ice and broke my left arm One of my main concerns was that I could not open cans for my dogâs food with the manual can opener I currently have I was looking for an electric can opener that could accomplish this task Upon researching a few different can openers on Amazon I settled on the Kitchen Mama Electric can opener It arrived within a couple of days The packaging was great and it was easy to open the box it arrived in and then the plastic interior came apart easily by using one hand It requires double a batteries The battery compartment was easy to open with one hand Battery insertion was easy as well as re-closing the battery compartment To open cans all you have to do is set the can opener on the can and position it properly with the lip of the can in between the blade and the turning apparatus and push the button to start the opening process The opener revolves around the can and once it makes one revolution you press the button again and it stops There is a magnet on the opener that helps to lift the can lid off the can I am very impressed with this can opener from the packaging to the awesome way it works I definitely recommend this can opener (in fact I have raved about it to all my friends and family)
