Title: Bright light in the dark (and stays on in lower light)
Review: Bright on either setting. Using as a light in basement. Even with basement lights on and daylight coming in through 3 windows, these lights don’t turn off. Obviously this means they are not going to last the 9+ years with an average of 3-4 hours of use per day. But they’re inexpensive so it’s not a big issue to have to replace when the light burns out. I will find a different solution for the basement when they do burn out, but I would probably use them as a nightlight for the bathrooms even though they are a bit bright, even on the low setting. The only true con to me is that the sensor is not sensitive enough to turn off when other light is present. As far as the design goes, it would be better if the switch to set the light from low to high were on the outside since it needs to be unplugged to switch it.

Title: Can interrupt your sleep cycles
Review: These do provide light for dark halls/rooms. There is an issue with it actually being good for use at night as it’s quite a bit more light than is good for use if it’s at a height which hits your eyes. It makes it hard to go back to sleep. The softer light of incandescent night lights works better if you need to get back to sleep. Especially if they’re plugged in at counter level, not ankle level.
