Title: Well made
Review: This is a substantial product. The wood is solid and well milled. No rough edges. It is not stained, painted or sealed. The moving parts are true to fit. Just release the two bottom swing legs and it locks in place. When not using there is a latch to hold it closed. That’s about half the full length. It comes with side rails if you need. The carpeted top does help the dog to grip while going up or down. It also dusts to different heights. It’s a very nice wooden ramp. I’ll probably seal it to help keep the wood cleaner.The packaging had styrofoam on all 6 sides. No damage to the unit.

Title: Not for large dogs
Review: I really want to like this dog ramp, however I think it’s better suited for smaller dogs. My dog weighs about 90lbs, and there was a lot of movement when she was going up the ramp. I’m not sure it will hold up well over time. On the plus side, it is relatively easy to set up, and it doesn’t take a lot of room in the car when not in use. I wish that the carpet provided better traction. It is a bit pricey for something that doesn’t seem very sturdy.

Title: Helps my dog with the bed.
Review: Reviewing PURRPAXZ Large Dog Ramp for Couch, This is sturdy and well made. It is adjustable (height wise) and goes up to 31.5” tall. The lowest is short, around 24.5”. It folds in half when not in use and has a handle to carry it around. I didn’t weigh it, but it feels like it’s between 15 and 20 lbs, so it can be easily moved by the handle. The surface is similar to an indoor/outdoor carpet, so my dog gets easy traction on it. She is old and can be wobbly, so I appreciate the side bars on it, although, they are short, so a dog could easily step off the side ignoring the side bars. They can be removed if you don’t want to use them, and also when you plan to store it. Watch your fingers when you are folding it in half. They could easily get smashed. I’ve found that with all the ramps I’ve tried. There was a lot of clean-up required from the styrofoam packing material. It not only shed all over the carpet on the ramp, but it melted to the handle and it took about 20 minutes to get it all off the handle. Rating 4 stars.
