Review: I like these corduroy covers. At first, I believed them to be complete throw-pillows based on the pictures, but they are definitely sold as covers. My mistake. I then ordered some inserts and put the covers together. It is sometimes difficult to find the little zippers, which are color-coordinated with the pillow covers, but once found they work smoothly.You have to be careful inserting the foam inserts into the covers. The zippered openings are not full-width, which I gather is necessary to let the corners of the insert sit firmly in the corners of the cover. You have to approach filling the covers with care and patience. Reaching in to adjust them so the pillows are uniformly filled takes a bit of time, but the results are well worth it.The two variations of brown/beige and the grey package blend beautifully. All the neutral colors mix and match. When I finished placing the first batch of 12 around the house on various chairs and sofas, I ran out and quickly ordered 8 more. These new pillows made the existing ones look really shabby so I opted to do over the whole house. And at this price point that’s not a large financial outlay.I have no idea at this point how they will wear over time or how hard it will be to keep them clean, but since some of the older ones I had didn’t have zippers at all, these should be much easier to care for. Right now, they bring a whole new fresh look to the furniture in the house!
