Title: So far so good
Review: After getting the robotvac and charging it. I turned it on so it could complete the mapping. Which I do love the mapping. Also I love that you can control it from the smart app and also that it has WiFi connectivity. I haven’t used the mop option yet.

Title: Optimistic
Review: I will begin with the possible downsides of purchasing a Lubluelu vacuum. I have been using a Lubluelu SL60D robot vacuum for about 13-months and over time they pushed some firmware updates that managed to resolve most of the complaints I had early on. You can see my review of that older model here (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RTWDIGHAXVJFB/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B0C5R7N16K)Anyway, a few weeks ago, the SL60D essentially stopped working. It suddenly stopped being able to sense that it was flat on the floor and would give a “Wheel overhang error” while refusing to do anything. I emailed Lubluelu support a week ago & still no response, that is the chance you are taking with this vacuum. As for this new SL68 vacuum, thus far, I don’t have much to complain about. There are some subtle changes vs. the SL60D and honestly, I think they mostly are all positive.- The ‘dust bin’ design was altered. On one hand, the design of the filter placement is better. On the other hand, eliminating the notch at the bottom of the bin (where you could previously place your thumb while removing the bin) feels more awkward, but it is still completely usable. Unfortunately, the dust bins on both models are too small IMO.- The SL68 vacuum seems to be much quieter than the SL60D- The SL68 battery appears to last much longer than the SL60D- If you have existing maps created by the SL60D, they are not transferrable to the SL68, you will need to remap and redo any off-limit zones, etc. but on the plus side the SL68 allows for twice as many off-limit areas.Overall, the SL68 seems to be a significant improvement over the SL60D and I am, so far, happy that I purchased it despite the horrible lack of customer service I have received with the SL60D.One other word of caution, especially for those with a lot of pet hair. I have not taken apart the SL68 so I have no idea what the internal look like, however, a major issue with the SL60D was that it has an internal filter, sort of a black sponge (doesn’t appear to be charcoal, just a sponge) in the end of the air inlet tube. You cannot clean or replace that filter without taking the vacuum apart and unless you take it apart, you will have no idea that filter even exists. After about 7-months my SL60D pretty much stopped picking anything up and that is when I decided to take it apart and have a look. The little black filter had a good 1/4″ of filth caked on it, causing the air intake to essentially be blocked, thus, not allowing the vacuum to really pick up anything. I cleaned that filter, reassembled and all was well until I began getting the “wheel overhang” error. My hope is that the design of this SL68 is different and not prone to the same issue but again, buyer beware. I will update my review after spending more time with this little robot.

Title: Well-designed, Works beautifully, exceeded my expectations!
Review: This review is for the Lubluelu SL68-DB, robot vacuum. When unboxing I was really impressed with the look and design of this unit, and it came with a large quick start guide, as well as a comprehensive, easy to read instruction manual (in many languages). In a very short time I had it hooked up to my Wi-Fi, so I set it on the charging base against the wall in my living room, then after it was fully charged sent it off to begin mapping the first floor of my home. The instructions warn to tidy up loose cables and things like that, which I did. However one thing I did not pick up was a shaggy bath mat in my downstairs bathroom, that it did get hung up on. I got it untangled with no damage to the unit or bath mat, then sent it on its way and it finished mapping the entire first floor. What really impressed me is how thorough and methodological this vacuum is, creating a border around the entire first floor, then filling it in and vacuuming everything it can reach beautifully. Even underneath several couches and a cabinet, that I probably haven’t vacuumed under in many months. After the first trip, the dirt cup was completely full, as you can see in one picture. An interesting thing is that it finished up the first trip as far away from the charger as it could be, at the back wall of the den. It was at about 20% battery reserve, and without the vacuum running, it limped back into the living room, then slowly moved toward the charger. At one point I thought it might be lost, as it kept spinning, but I left it alone, and eventually it found its way to the charger. I’ve sent it off on 12 more cleaning trips, including all rooms and targeting one room at a time, and every time it has returned to the charging base. Very impressive!I’ve learned more about the Smart Life software as I’ve gone along, and discovered I can make “no go” zones, which I did for the downstairs bathroom, and around a pedestal fan, because it kept trying climb up onto the domed base. I’ve also set the room cleaning order, so now it ends in the living room, very close to the charging base. Then I tried the mop feature on a large raised tile entryway. I set the water dispenser on high, and for it to operate in a Y pattern (which simulates a person hand mopping). It basically drags the wet microfiber cloth across the floor, but actually does a pretty decent job. Like the way it vacuums, it first defined the outside border, and it’s cliff sensors prevented it from falling off of the tile. Then it began thoroughly mopping north/south, and repeated the entire process east/west as well. Clean up is simply removing the microfiber cloth and rinsing it out, then letting it dry, and emptying out the remainder of the water. After you’re done mopping, you’ll want to go into settings and turn water off, and reset the straight vacuuming pattern. I have large areas of laminate floor that have area rugs on it, and I may not use it to mop those. However you can set no-go areas for mopping over the rugs, or simply remove the area rugs while it’s mopping.By the way, when I connected to my Wi-Fi, my Alexa device responded that it was connected as well, however I don’t plan to enable voice commands. Using the Smart Life app on my phone works beautifully, so I’ll continue using it.Bottom line: I’ve never used a robot vacuum before, and frankly had very low expectations. However I am thoroughly impressed with this machine, and it has really exceeded my expectations, especially at the current asking price of around $120. Very highly recommended, and a great gift idea as well! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Title: So far good
Review: I bought this to replace another basic robot vacuum I had. I have 5 dogs and the last one never could handle all the hair. This one rocks at picking up the hair and dirt from their paws. It maps perfectly and doesn’t miss a spot. This was most important to me and the reason I gave it 4 stars. Now for the dislikes. The water reservoir is too close to the dust bin on the bottom. When you add water, it gets on the bottom and goes into the bin, leaving it crusty. So use a small funnel. And even when you set it to just vacuum, if there’s water in the reservoir, it’s going to leak some. The mopping feature isn’t the greatest. It smears more than mops but the floors do look somewhat better after. They just don’t feel clean on your feet. Lastly the app was confusing to me and I’m still not sure I’m using it right. So overall the vacuum is amazing, the mop, not so much.
