The building, a result of a unique collaboration between two brothers who each own an identical 4×22 meter land lot, is divided into two interconnected parts. Despite this dual ownership, the architects have created a cohesive structure that embodies the energy of the city while maintaining a strong connection to nature, a response to the increasing loss of green spaces in Saigon.
Drawing inspiration from iconic cities around the world, Cities & Gardens incorporates natural elements in both direct and imaginative ways. A landscaped courtyard, made possible by a 6-meter setback, features lush trees and inviting outdoor furniture, providing a serene escape from the urban bustle. The building’s facade is a masterpiece of design, with angled blocks representing the individuality of the eight boutique suites within, each with its own distinctive theme and style.
From the Tokyo Home to the Parisian Suite, and from the Earth Garden to the Copenhagen Attic, each suite is a unique experience, incorporating design elements, materials, and styles inspired by different cities and cultures. The Waterspace, The Loft, Forest Lodge, and Saigonese Terrace complete the collection, offering guests a diverse range of atmospheres to suit their tastes and moods.
Beyond the suites, Cities & Gardens offers communal spaces designed to foster a sense of community and connection. A ground and mezzanine level café and co-working space provide a vibrant hub for guests to work, socialize, and unwind.
