Title: Best Breakfast Asset
Review: I bought this in 2019, still working well in 2024. I use it basically every weekend for pancakes or French toast. I needed something bigger than the stove pan. This works amazingly well for the pancakes and cleans up very easily. Weâve tried cooking meat on it before, but itâs more difficult to clean and meat likes to stick a little more so, but can still do it (we just donât prefer). Also itâs awesome for grilled cheese. I love that the legs detach, making it really easy for storage for space saving purposes especially since it is a larger griddle. I plan on buying another one if/when this one fails. However, five years and it is still going strong.

Title: Great Size for Families
Review: I made this purchase to replace a griddle that I gave away. I miss the large drip tray on the previous model that acted like a warning tray. This model would be more convenient if it had a larger drip tray but other than the lack of that feature the non-stick surface is great and the size is adequate for families. The temperature range and accuracy has been working well for our intended use. I like that the griddle separates from the legs and is easy to clean and store.

Title: Great product (so far!)
Review: Finally decided to give my elderly electric griddle the heave-ho. The non-stick surface was non-functional and pretty bad looking. I have always used proper tools to avoid scratching, but I think someone (not me 🙂 once slathered it in non-stick spray, which is a total NO-NO on any of these. Just received my Presto and used it for the first time. WOW! My only problem was that I’ll have to get a new spatula with a VERY thin lip. When I went to flip my delicious buckwheat pancakes, the slightest bump on the side of the cake would literally send it rocketing off the griddle because it was so slick! Removable handles are great. Easy to clean. We’ll have to see how it holds up in the long run, but so far it is great. One thing – my laser thermometer says that it heats a bit higher (at least in the top range 350° to 400°) than it shows on the setting dial. I haven’t checked the lower ranges so they may be closer to setting. I wish I had bought this years ago. (Added after a month of use:) The only problem is the actual temperature – it is, as I said definitely higher than the markings indicate and there is a definite “heat pattern” of higher and lower areas from the heating element. All in all though, I am very happy with it – and a face full of delicious buckwheat pancakes!)

Title: Ok so far, but some caveats
Review: Heat distribution is not great but it’s adequate. Some hot spot and cooler spots but thats likely to be expected due to the way the heating element channels the heat.I don’t like that the pattern of the aluminum griddle gets enshrined in your pancakes, but that isn’t a huge issue and may not be an issue with different batters. We will see.Used both homemade batters (NY Times sourced) and store bought (formerly Aunt Jemima) mixes.Pancakes were good and the cooking time was relatively quick, and cleanup was a cinch. Installing and removing the handles (metal) is dead simple. The griddle also comes to temperature quickly.Hopefully it will have a better service life than many of the cooking appliances we have purchased over the last few years.More review info to follow as we get more mileage with it.

Title: Very impressed
Review: I’ve been using an old panini press/grill to make b’fast for many years. It does the job but…. it was definitely time for an upgrade. This grill has great reviews including videos explaining every little feature. The price was definitely right so I pulled the trigger.As others have said, this thing heats up FAST! And it cooks FAST! My old rig took forever to get hot and took a long time to actually cook something. This thing is so fast that it’s difficult to get everything else together before it’s done.Comments: Yes, the surface is non-stick and VERY easy to clean with just a sponge and soapy water. But for eggs you do want to spray the surface with Pam or something.Handle come off easily and the grill stores away nicely even though I use it almost every day so I should probably just leave it out.I’m still fooling around with the temp settings. The manual says 300 degrees for eggs and that’s WAAAAY too high. 225 seems to be a much better temp and I may turn it down a bit more. Bacon cooks VERY quickly even at that low setting. Haven’t used it to make pancakes yet but pancakes are the main reason for this purchase. Need an electric grill? This is the one you want!

Title: Perfection
Review: We purchased this griddle in 2018 and it has been flawless. Pancakes are easy with this machine. I absolutely love the large surface. 6 years later and we’re having to replace it because it was damaged after being dropped. Highly recommended.
