Title: I was skeptical
Review: The price was right and was even discounted for a Black Friday deal so I took the risk. I’m pleasantly surprised. Assembly was simple and minimal. Apparently the manufacturer listened to feedback and have now provided a nice long power cord. It comes with several accessories which look like they will be useful for other tasks besides mopping. The unit appears to be well constructed. The removable hand unit is good for doing small jobs such as steaming clothing or cleaning grout. It’s easy to fill with the included measuring cup and funnel. It also comes with two machine washable mop heads. I was surprised by how quickly the unit heats up and starts producing steam. I’ve always used a Bona spray mop on my tile floors but I didn’t like the slick feel of the floors afterward. This steam mop provided very clean tiles that dried very quickly. The head of the mop pivots at angles and holds to get into difficult to reach areas like behind the toilet. It takes some getting used to but it’s not a deal breaker. Overall: a great buy I can highly recommend.

Title: Not like TV Magic and has some shortcomings, BUT… I did give it 5 stars
Review: 2nd Update:Replacement attachment brushes are not available. If they are, it’s so complicated that I can’t figure it out. Even emailed the company from their website only to have the email bounce back to me…. nice…. Still love it. I’ll use the attachment brushes for as long as I can, and then I’ll buy a hand held steamer, making sure I can buy replacement parts.Since I wasn’t sure how I would like a steam cleaner, I wasn’t planning to spend a lot of money. So I’m not dissapointed that this is what I bought. If I had known how much I’d like and and how much I’d use it, I probably would have looked into something more expensive with replaceable parts. But keeping this as a mom and buying another handheld steamer for other things will certainly meet my needs. It’s really a great little cleaner.Update:Been using this thing pretty routinely for about 7 months. Still working well. The attachment brushes that I use most are wearing thin. There are definitely parts of my house– places I couldn’t figure out how to clean the first 20 years of living here– that remain consistently clean now. For the price, still extremely happy.Original review:I’m generally pretty realistic. I wasn’t expecting TV Magic, so I wasn’t disappointed at all, especially for the price. Unless it breaks prematurely, I would definitely recommend it.The positives:- It’s lightweight- It folds to a reasonable size that’s easy to store- It’s easy to use- It has a lot of attachments, which I’ve found useful- Not super expensive- Stands up on it’s own, which apparently not all of them do?????The negatives:- The cord is short. If I were using it to clean all the floors in my house, I’d use an extension cord. I’m not using it on my wood floors because I don’t trust the finish to be sealed well enough in all places. So the short cord hasn’t been an issue for me simply because the spaces I’m using it in are small.- Small water “tank.” Again, since not using it for all my floors, one fill is enough for my tiled areas. For other cleaning with the handheld portion, I do have to refill it. I’m typically using it around a water source, so it’s not a big deal to just refill when needed.- Very loud when using the smaller attachments on full power. I suppose anything shooting a lot of steam out of a little hole would be loud. I just bought a nice pair or earplugs. The cleaning:My house was built in the 50s/60s. I moved in 20 years ago. I would love to have replaced many things in the house years ago, but life doesn’t always work that way. Lots of things really show the age.So far:1) Mopped my tile kitchen/sunroom. It did not do a great job on the grout when being used as a mop. BUT….. It did a better job on my kitchen than anything else I’ve ever tried in there. It’s this horrible white, tile with a slightly bumpy texture and very deep grooves dividing each tile into four parts. (who puts this in a kitchen, I have no idea…… It shows every tiny drop of anything that falls on the floor. I’ve wanted to change these stupid floors since before we moved in but they weren’t priority) The only way I’ve ever gotten the deep grooves clean was to get on my hands and knees, which I didn’t do very often for the obvious reasons. And a pass with other mops I’ve tried were only mediocre at cleaning the rest of the tile. This mop cleaned my floor better and faster than any other thing I’ve ever tried. The white looked white. It cleaned the deep grooves, which I’ve always had to do on hands and knees. If something is really stuck, I need to pass over it a few times, but everything has come off. Occasionally, I need to scrap my finger in the groove to get something out. But even then, it’s already really loose, just not coming up on the mop. Overall, I’m super happy with it as a mop for my very hard to clean kitchen floors.2) It didn’t clean the grout in passing as a mop. The grout looked somewhat better, but not clean. I did, however, clean the grout in part of the sunroom with the grout attachment, and it did a pretty good job. Not quite like TV Magic in all areas. There was, however, an improvement on all areas and some areas were like TV Magic. Could be happier, but still pretty darn happy. Hoping that the more I do it, the cleaner the grout will eventually get. I’ll get to the kitchen grout later with hopes to get same results as I did with the sunroom grout.3) I have this “seam” in the laminate backsplash behind my stove. It had this orangish colored smudge across the seam, which I could only conclude was ooze that they never bothered wiping away when adhering the laminate to the wall. Even though it’s hidden by the stove, It’s always bothered me, and I’ve tried multiple times over the years to remove it using various methods. I was never able to make any difference at all. This WAS like TV Magic. Came RIGHT UP, SO EASILY! MAGIC!4) While I had the stove moved, I cleaned the floor under the stove. You know how that can get– gross, sticky icky. Again, MAGIC! Came right up in under a minute with no real work!5) I have an area rug that looked really good for years…… until I got a dog….. No stains or anything just looked overall dingy. It definitely looks fresher after a pass with the steamer.6) Did not do a good job as a furniture cleaner. My sofa is gross because of aforementioned dog. It’s still gross. It doesn’t look like I’ve done anything. Might try again at some point later using a different strategy, but I’ve moved on to other projects at the moment.7) Did a killer job on my shower door, which is sort of textured and frosted. Again, it looked like crap when I moved in, and I have never been able to get it to look completely clean no matter how hard I tried. One pass with the steamer and it looks as good as new. Literally. TV Magic. My only complaint is that people keep using the shower without wiping the door down and messing it up again the same day that I clean it.8) Did a pretty good job on the metal rim of the shower door.9) Did not to a good job on the shower in passing. Didn’t clean soap scum from the tile and didn’t do anything for the grout. It was like I hadn’t done anything at all.10) So I tried the grout attachment for the grout and another small attachment for the tile. It cleaned some areas of the grout very well, some areas moderately well, and other areas not so well. It did a good job of getting the soap scum off of the tile. I suppose I was just looking for a faster way than going over all the tiles with a little brush. But the little brush did work quite nicely.11) All the little crevices on the kitchen sink. I’m pretty thorough when cleaning the kitchen sink, but some areas are just hard to get completely. There are words indented around the rim of my garbage disposal, and there was one part where I just couldn’t get the gunk out well enough. Took care of it, no problem and the entire rim was shiny and polished looking. Lots of little crud around the edges of the sink and around the fixture was easily removed. I was really looking forward to this part and really hoped it would work. It did do a satisfying job.Overall, I’m quite happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Title: Old House (1970’s) Vs. Steam Mop!
Review: I purchased my home almost a year ago from the sweetest older gentleman I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was not in the greatest of health, and unfortunately the home cleaning part he fell behind on, as he simply didn’t have the energy to keep up with it.Despite my best attempts, (and many tik tok mopping hacks) that gross black layer that has formed over the (incredibly retro) floor in the kitchen barely budged, and much to my dismay became even more obvious when we relocated the refrigerator across the kitchen and left that clearly clean spot that the portable dishwasher just isn’t large enough to fully cover. (See picture 1.) So my hunt for something that could hopefully get the stuff to come clean, so I can quit lamenting over just how much I hate this flooring and want to replace it.I’ve used steam mops in the past, and I can vouch for how good they have worked before, but I personally haven’t had access to one since I lived with my mother. I also have 4 cats, so I wanted something powerful, but also chemical free, and personally loathe playing the floor is lava for the hour following a standard bucket and floor mop session.I purchased the PUR Steam mop because it had the long handle for floor mopping usage and ALL OF THE ATTACHMENTS!!!!! I like attachments, it makes me feel like I’m saving money because I can use the machine in a multitude of ways, and I went all in. I got it, opened the box, and put it to WERK. It comes with a handy little funnel and a measuring cup that is conveniently just the right size to fill the device. Neat!I started by mopping my kitchen floor. the velcro on the floor usage apparatus is powerful, but it’s velcro. So I’m sure after many uses, it will start to weaken. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. My bonus kids watched in awe as I effortlessly mopped my kitchen 3 times in 15 minutes. It’s a tiny kitchen. And they went trekking through in socks as I was doing so, and I’m happy to report there were no complaints of wet socks! I wish I would snapped a pic of the aftermath of the kitchen mop, because it was BAD. I giggled like a maniac and took my mopping adventures to the bathroom. Where our litterboxes are. Our 2 recent cat additions like to track their poo on the tile in the bathroom because they MUST get immense enjoyment out of stepping in it, knowing I’m going to have to clean that up, because EW. My white tile is white again, and the dried on poo stood NO chance. Needless to say the microfiber pad was much worse.I then turned my focus to my stove, to which I’ve used probably every degreaser under the sun to limited success. I actually kinda cheated a little, (Sometimes you need a little extra help the first time. Hoping for chemical free cleaning after this) and liberally applied my favorite degreaser, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then went to town on the stove with the detached steamer unit, and the large and small scrub brush. It’s plenty light, even when full, and the cord is pretty long, so my arms didn’t get tired as I was furiously scrubbing the stove. There was so much steam that I couldn’t tell where I had already gotten, and my glasses were super fogged up, but I felt like I had gotten everywhere at least a few times. Wipe it up with a paper towel, and my stove hasn’t looked better! The only pitfalls so far to this machine is that I kinda ruined the brushes, which with 212 degree (on the instruction booklet) steam, and enough downward force, I expected it. I’ll be shopping around for some replacements, but I figure I still have a few more good uses out of them, and when your not using the floor mop handle it is LOUD. I went looking for earplugs after a little while of stove cleaning. I then tackled the glass for the stove in the same manner. Heavy degreaser, wait 10 minutes, then go to scrub town. I was so chuffed with the results, I couldn’t be done yet.I swapped the pads and tried the carpet glider attachment. The carpet in my home is old, and so packed down in some places, I’ve been considering just purchasing new carpet, as I’ve seen the hack to re-fluff your carpet is with a damp towel, a hot iron, and a carpet brush. Well ain’t nobody got time for that. Once again getting the bonus kids socks seal of approval, this machine didn’t leave any wetness in the carpet that stuck, so I ran the carpet mop over the floor several times, turned my shark robot vac to high, and let it rip. You can tell where the carpet is trying to fluff back up thanks to the agitator brush on the robot, so I figure a few more times of that and hopefully it’ll be fluffy again. The machine pads are machine washable, so I threw them into my washer alone, with a detergent pod, and a scoop of washing booster powder, and they came out looking dang near brand new. I was SHOOKETH. I’m going to buy more later so I can have a microfiber pad for each room. I can’t wait to try out the window squeegee attachment, and the grout cleaner attachment in my shower.I definitely recommend this product. Was worth every penny in my eyes. I hope it lasts a long time.

Review: I researched the best steamers on the market and this one came in first more often than not. I also bought the 10 extra pads.First of . . I READ THE MANUAL. To those who say the plastic surround scratched your floors, that is because the plastic surround is for use on carpets only. First off l cleaned my hardwood kitchen floors . . Excellent job, even my husband noticed. It was done in half the time and was better than a swifter and has left no streaks.Next day l cleaned my windows (inside and out). Took half the time to get them sparkling and streak free. I also used it on the window ledges and baseboards . . Easy peasy ( I’m embarrassed by how much dirt came up.)the cord is long enough for indoor use. For cleaning the outside windows I had to use an extension cord . . .no biggie. There are a lot of different attachments. Most of which l probably won’t use. When using the wand, you have to make sure the copper ball inside is emersed in the water. That is how it heats up. You will figure it out after a while.I highly recommend this product.

Review: The only thing I don’t like about this machine is it runs out of water so quickly and you have to lay it flat to refill. They did not supply a cup like my last one did, to make filling easier. At first my floors were so streaky, I called customer service and was told I was using too hot a setting. She was right and I couldn’t be happier.
