Title: One of the best purchases of my lifetime
Review: The S8 is seriously one of the best products I’ve ever purchased. I run this vacuum 5-6 times a week, and it keeps the hard floors and rugs spotless. The combo vacuum/mop is unbelievably effective. Every time I empty the water reservoir I’m shocked to see how much dirt was actually on my floor. The robot is really easy to use and highly customizable through the app. It’s also built in such a way that makes it incredibly intuitive and easy to disassebmle if any parts become jammed or need cleaning.It might be expensive, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Title: Redux Review
Review: My first review of my new Roborock S8 was written out of frustration at not being able to get it to connect with my WiFi. A professional IT friend repeated what I had done—and it connected. Given the vagaries of WiFi (or at least MY WiFi), the cause is a mystery. Shortly after my one star review was posted, Roborock sent a refund offer. To emphasize: Roborock volunteer to return my money, without my having to ask! Amazing, and very much appreciated customer care. I decided that any company that good at customer service deserves a public compliment and a new review–which is; now that my S8 is operating as it should, I can say it is excellent and I am very pleased with it. It’s being used in my large house on both carpet and tile flooring. None of the problems I had with my old robot vac are present. It does not get stuck on carpet edges, floor dividers or the round tubular bases of my easy chairs, which were a constant trap for my old vacuum. Add to that, it cleans nicely. The mop function is particularly impressive. I am always dribbling coffee or something on my kitchen/dinette floor, and “Rocky” does a really good job of cleaning up after me. I do not have house animals, other than myself, so I can’t comment on the really tough job created by pet hair, but crumbs, dead bugs, loose dirt and the little things I track in from the yard disappear. It is necessary to pick up larger debris that might clog the unit, but that is a given with any sort of vacuum. It is quiet and operates in a grid, instead of just banging around like a tiny bumper car. And, its ability to avoid tangling with power cords is remarkable. I’ve had mine call for help just once, and that was when it sucked up a cloth cord that was dangling on the floor. There is always room for improvement in the Apps for these things, but so far I haven’t found it too difficult, although I have been operating “Rocky” only when I manually tell it to clean. Given its performance and the wonderful customer care, 5 stars are deserved.

Title: Bad design no trust Chinese made product
Review: Bad design, second try on it fails. Water flush all over cradle it spill out all over my brand new wood floor. Very disappointed!After supporting team encourage me of the way the assist and help to overcome my dissatisfaction. I agree to give the product another trial. I have been done testing it daily to see any issue. Also, They have tried to their best to support my needed. I decide to rerate it because of this support. I hope this is lesson learn for them to ensure their product is tested and passed all functions before shipping or selling to customer!2nd unit sent out, after 10-12 time cleaning, it has started leaking water, same issue to first one. Even I did request design team to send me a report of how to overcome this issue but no response. I plan to return this unit for good. This junk design, bad reputation. QA/QE team should be getting fired! No quality, no testing before selling the product. Chinese made product needs to improve by testing before selling it out. It is weak product with a lot of design issue. It is not ACCEPTABLE to be failed twice in the same issue (leaking water). Who is going to pay my beautiful wood floor damaged by bad design. I gave up on your product. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND OR THIS MODEL EVER!!!!

Title: Solid vacuum and mop, app could be better.
Review: So weâve had the Roborock S8 Ultra vacuum and mop we bought on Prime Day for about 3 months and I gotta say itâs pretty awesome. The vacuum is faster and quieter than our old Roomba i7+ and I think it does a better job. We have it running in different rooms throughout the week, so itâs running about 80 minutes at most vs the almost 3 hours it took the old Roomba. The mop works out well for cleaning the hard floors and we really like that it washes and dries the mop after cleanings so it doesnât get funky. The auto empty on the vacuum and auto fill and empty for water and detergent on the mop is super convenient. The app isnât as intuitive as the Roomba app, but I think itâs more useful once you learn it. Only reason for the mark down from five stars because the app is not as easy to use.If you end up looking for a robot vacuum, itâs a solid choice, especially if you can score it on sale.

Title: Easy setup and easy App
Review: I found the roborock S8 Max Ultra super easy to set up and the App is very easy to navigate; It did a great job at ‘mapping’ and the amount of power (and dirt/fur this unit sucks up) is so much more than the ‘other’ brand… Love the ease of cleaning with the roborock as it saves so much time during the week!

Review: Mi robot es maravilloso, todas las mañanas hago una revisión rápida de la casa y la pongo a trabajar, guardé dos mapas en la app ya que mi casa es de dos niveles y puedo cambiarla muy fácil a trabajar arriba o abajo. Mis pisos son de mármol y con el detergente especial de la marca quedan muy bien y también limpia sin problema los tapetes de caucho del gimnasio. En la app restringà algunas habitaciones que suelen ser caóticas en casa como el lavadero y solo programo la limpieza de esta área cuando ya he hecho una revisión previa de que no haya obstáculos mayores. Limpia todos los rincones y me ahorra muuuuuucho trabajo.
