Title: Worth every penny
Review: This is my 3rd robot vacuum but my first Shark and I will never buy another brand ! This one is by far the best weâve ever owned . Itâs is quiet , always without fail makes its way to return to base , does a good job cleaning, we have 2 indoor cats and I have it set up with the app to vacuum daily . It will go back to base and empty itself and return to work or if it needs a charge it will go to base , charge up and then resume where it left off . . I had problems with other vacuums getting stuck in certain places but not this one . The only time it had problems is if I leave something out that can get wrapped in the wheel and then it will send an alert to my phone. One selling point for me was it was supposed to kept hair from wrapping around the brush roll and it works wonderfully, no more trying to pull or cut hair out . This vacuum is great!!

Title: This product has earned my time reviewing it.
Review: This vacuum has performed flawlessly, with respect to everything. That never ever happens to me. I rarely review, but Shark has earned it.I have a German Shepherd/Pit Bull hybrid. He takes after the German Shepherd when it comes to shedding. It amazes me, every year, how much hair he has. When he walks by, and happens to be in a sunbeam, you can watch the hair falling off his body. This vacuum said it had a self-cleaning roller. I usually âgrain of saltâ those types of claims as just marketing lies. After two weeks of use, and several times emptying the base, I needed to take the roller out. There was no hair at all. To be fair, heâs a short hair, but we also have a Maine Coon cat; heâs long hair and no slouch at shedding. What I can say for sure is this: I cannot imagine anybody having a complaint about this machine if it is functioning the way it is intended. The negative reviews seem to be with regard to Customer Service, connectivity, legitimate programming glitches, and perceived programming glitches.Iâve seen a couple of reviews that say their machine bumbled around hitting things over and over. They may well be right. In that case, the programming may be glitchy. [This is where the less-than-stellar reviews come in: customer service, something Iâve not experienced] A different one would likely fix it.I am of the opinion that some reviewers have created their own bumbling robot. The machine makes a map of your house and uses it every time it cleans. Mine knows where things are with impressive precision. But, if you move something, like a chair, then yeah, to get around and vacuum close to what the robot thinks is an obstacle, itâs going to use its front âfeelerâ bar.Once, my wife accidentally kicked the robot off its stand during the middle of the day. To our surprise and on its own, the robot got back on his stand.Works in the dark, quiet enough to sleep while it is vacuuming hard wood floors.I couldnât be happier.

Title: Best one so far! Hard to clean though.
Review: Edit: Shark found a chunk of puppy poo and scooped it up so efficiently that I had a hard time finding the spot it came from. However. Shark was EXTREMELY difficult to clean. My old Roomba had parts that popped right out, easily cleaned and sent back on the road. I spent a better part of 20 minutes with a scrub brush trying to clean the Shark out. I can’t take out the roller without a tiny screwdriver. The wheels have divots in them for traction, and guess where all the poo was? Instead of having a smooth underside where the dust bin comes out, it is grooved for no apparent reason. Had to take a point off because being able to clean it is important.I only got this yesterday, set it up, and charged it. When it reached 50%, it went out and did a mapping run. The rooms and dimensions were clearly visible on the app. This morning, I set it to start out at 8 am, and it did. The app said it would take about 80 minutes to clean the portions of my house available to it. It did a formidable job of getting rid of all the pet hair. I have four dogs and my daughters have between them 5 cats that shed like snow storms, all the time. There were balls of hair in every corner of the house. Shark got almost every one of them, and it had been several days since we have had a vacuum.I had a Roomba for about 3 years, and it did okay, but you couldn’t get it to do any discernable pattern, it just kind of wandered around, docked itself to charge back up, wandered around some more, all day long. It was loud and annoying. It died death by poop.I ordered a no brand name vacuum and mop combo that got decent reviews. This had no app, it came with a remote control. You could program it to perform patterns, but it was woefully under powered, and I had to send it back,The Shark is quiet, the app is user friendly, and – at least the first day – it did a really decent job. It follows a pattern, which you can set, and it got up all the dirt lying around. We have wood floors only, no carpets, so I don’t know how well it works on those. It has a “mega clean” feature that I haven’t used yet. I have it set to run every day. If things change, I will update the review.

Title: Best Basic Robot Vacuum
Review: I used to have the basic iRobot roomba and I absolutely hated it. It was extremely loud, crashed into walls and furniture (damaging said items), and would get stuck on a âcliffâ (the corner of my thin rug) daily. For the high price and little special features, it was a flop.I got the Shark Matrix on Prime day to replace my dumb Roomba and I am obsessed with it. Itâs extremely quiet (to the point that I donât even know itâs running), maps the room and cleans every square foot that isnât obstructed, and does a great job of cleaning instead of just kicking dirt around. For the basic Shark, itâs worth the low price.Added bonusâ¦it leaves vacuum lines!! For an OCD clean freak, this, along with how well it actually vacuums every spec of dust, itâs the total package!
