Title: Great Lime Scent!
Review: I was looking to replace my CASWELL MASSEY Lime Cologne Water when I happened upon this brand in my AMAZON search. Reviews looked good, longevity of the brand (1946), and all natural ingredients had me hooked to give it a try. The first notes are a strong lime scent (LOVE) that slowly evolves into a masculine powdery lime scent, but still strong of lime when sniffed up close. And it lasts long too. If you’re a clean’n’fresh lime lovin’ guy, this one is for you.

Title: Wonderful aroma!
Review: I bought this for my husband (at his request!) for Fathers Day. He had used all of his other bottle of the same cologne. If you like the refreshing smell of lime, this is a very nice option. Itâs not sweet, just refreshing.

Title: Unpleasant smell
Review: I first used St. John West Indian Lime Cologne in 1960, when I worked during the Christmas holiday season in the men’s area of a department store. Back then it was a wonderful, clear citrus smelling long lasting cologne. The only aftershave product I liked better was St. John’s Bay Rum, which I still use all these years later and to which I can still, in 2024, give a 5 star rating. I had not used the West Indian Lime for probably 40 years and thought I would try it again. The product I recently purchased was not in any way what I had used for many years back in the 60′ and 70’s. The first time I tried this new bottle the smell was strange, harsh, chemical rather than the rich but light citrus I had been used to. After a second and third trial, I poured the rest out and recycled the container. An expensive lesson that sometimes, one cannot got back again.

Review: I remembered having some of this ages ago so bought it for the heck of it. Not the same. They also make a similar pkg bay rum scent that may be the one I was thinking of. This scent is a bit sharp, not really pleasant.
