Title: Smart and Capable
Review: I’ve owned a few smart vacuum cleaners before this one and the last one I had was a Wyze vacuum that I got as a gift, so I just let it sit there really. So, this was quite an upgrade on features and options, but the main reason I am leaving this review is to note the consideration by this company to create a good design and think of everything a consumer might want or do and how to solve it. Is it perfect? No, but you will definitely appreciate this x-factor that TPLink (Tapo & Kasa) has in their stuff.Random Pro’s List———————-* Even on full suction it’s not loud and can be spoken over by raising your voice just a bit.* It is Matter compatible. If you are buying anything new for your home that uses electricity this is a MUST have option. Go check Matter out, it’s very cool.* There is a battery COMPARTMENT. Two screws and you can open up and remove the battery and replace it yourself. No need to pay someone or buy a vacuum that is just garbage if the battery dies. Support this move as consumers for sure.* The lidar might be bog standard for current gen vacuums, I don’t know, but this one was very quick, precise and had a long range. The mapping was perfect.* It MOPS! This is a light duty mop job, but do it more often means needing to do it as one big job.* Just enough shiny piano black on it to look nice but also not look like a roving dust magnet. The satin finish is very nice.* Don’t know if this is current gen standard, but it RARELY uses it’s bumper. A few others I had seemed to use the room map as a suggestion and used their bumpers like curb feelers. No baseboard scuffs here.* Tapo’s Home app is fantastic, and the vacuum section is no different. Very great attention to detail and I love having options for everything to really make it my own.* Tons of modes and options. You can tell it to clean the whole house but specify the living room should get three passes, etc.Random Con’s List (KAHN!)———————-* The side spiny brush screws on. Just and odd detail. The cleaning tool should have a little phillips screwdriver. This might be for a damn good reason that I have not realized yet but it’s odd not being able to just pop it off.* I don’t know how obvious it is, but you have to fill the mop with water from the tap and put the mop pad on it before it mops. Then you need to remove the mop pad before it can vacuum carpet. No biggie, but this only empties the dust side. The mopping has a bit of manual setup and clean up.* The mop tank and system only supports water. The manual is very clear to not add anything else.* The whole thing came with a replacement door that covers the roller brush, one dust bag (installed), and that’s it. I was expecting an spare side brush, filter, and maybe cleaning tool. You do not get those.* None of the printed materials gave any indication on where or what type of bags to buy. No QR codes, no suggestions, nothing. Maybe these bags are pretty standard? Idk.Ok, that’s a pretty long review. If it’s in your price range, you cannot go wrong here. Great vacuum.

Title: Great Upkeep Vacuum
Review: I have not owned a robot vacuum previously, so my review is based off being a new customer & not having something to compare it to. I am using it in my 1 bedroom apartment that has wood floors and rugs. This vacuum was pretty easy to assemble. It comes with a docking/charging station, 1 vacuum bag that comes pre-installed, 1 brush cleaner that is stored in the docking station, a mop pad attachment, and an extra attachment that I canât figure out what it is.The docking station is not too big and the self emptying dock is very convenient. The self emptying suction is pretty loud, but only lasts 5 seconds, so not too bad to avoid emptying it by hand. I personally found the app very confusing to use. I am still unable to use some of the features even after working through the solutions recommended & they didnât work, so I am going to reach out to support. The room features, map edits (add furniture, rugs, etc) do not work for me, so I cannot comment on them. The map is automatically created and edited the more times the vacuum is used in your home. Its wheels allow it to roll over door stops, rugs, etc. It works on carpet and wood floors; however, I would not recommend using this is you have very fluffy rugs or carpet. I have a rug with long hairs and it does get stuck & the hair wrap around the wheels. I always set the vacuum to run x2 in each area. 1x is not enough for it to suction up all debris, but 2x is perfect. It picks up all hairs and most debris. It is round, so it has 2 side brushes that tries to pick up any missed corners, but itâs not going to be perfect. Itâs not comfortable to a handheld vacuum, but it does a good job and is very convenient. The mop feature can be used by adding water to the bottom of the dustbin (separate compartments). Itâs recommended to not add any cleaner products to it, but I add a small cap full of floor cleaner. When ran x2 in each area, it doesnât a good job. Itâs not going to be as good you moping by hand, but it still does a good job cleaning any minor spills and shining your floors. Itâs not going to disinfect your floors or clean very dirty floors.Overall, this is a nice vacuum to upkeep your home daily. It feels great to not have to vacuum daily. Compared to other robot vacuums, itâs reasonably priced and a good alternative if you donât want to spend +$400. The vacuum bags are $15.99 for a set of 5 and theyâll last you a while.
