Review: I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother’s girlfriend. They go hunting a lot for all sorts of animals. This book had high ratings and it was more than what I expected. It has so much information for skinning animals and how to prepare the meat properly. Good looking recipes and lots of pictures! I think she’ll love it!

Review: I got this for my husband who loves Steve Rinella. It’s a great cook book with lots of information on butchering and many great recipes. Pictures in the cookbook are amazing and the instructions are very well written. My husband loved it so much and can’t wait to make some recipes.

Review: I bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves the Meat Eater television show. He is super happy with this as a gift. There are very good pictures and information in this. Great gift idea for a man who likes to hunt. If your husband likes to hunt and hasn’t seen the show, you should get him interested. Then you can buy this book for father’s day, birthday, etc.

Title: Amazing cook book, bad shipping
Review: This book is awesome, very descriptive and easy to follow recipes, even shows you how to dress wild game. I bought it for my husband for Christmas because he loves the Meat Eater show on Netflix. I have no complaints about the book, but giving 4 stars for Amazon’s packaging carelessness. It wasn’t wrapped in anything, it came on a box much bigger than the book with no sort of packing or even air bubbles to protect it so the end of the book is dented and the cover is ripped. And I just received it on the 14th so there’s no way I can return it and get a new one by Christmas. Overall amazing book, bad packaging, so just be aware.

Review: I bought this book for the other half who is looking to get more into game cooking and hunting and it has everything he needs. Very informative with good level of basic and further information, well presented with good pictures and recipes. Recipes are nice and easy to follow and are delicious. All in all, would very much recommend!

Review: I love the series since it is not the usual see ’em, shoot ’em, brag about ’em hunting show and instead it presents a nuanced presentation of what hunting is and should be. The cookbook has the same quality to it. The photos are great, the instructions are clear but most importantly, it is geared towards easy to do meals for people (mainly guys) who are not inherently cooks. The ones we have tried have been excellent and the only negative I would list about the book is that it is heavy, the flip side is that it is well made. I am really pleased that this book came out and I would strongly recommend it.
