B08KHYP2KV, Depending on who you ask, winter is great (kids and snowmobilers), or it’s the worst (the rest of us). The WORX 20” – 40V Snow Thrower makes a difficult chore easier on those of us who get grumbly when we need to blow out the driveway. It’s lighter and easier to use than traditional gas blowers, yet has enough power to clear out a 20” wide path of snow with each pass, that’s 10” deep, and blow it 20 feet away. Its single-stage rotary auger is more reliable and lasts longer because it’s just one piece, and the brushless high-efficiency motor wastes less energy, which…, 4, Reviewer: A. Toepel

Title: Iâm impressed!
Review: Iâve been waiting about a month now for some real snow to put this little guy to the test and today we finally got some. Itâs about 2â of the wet slushy stuff. The stuff that doesnât look that bad, but itâs so heavy that your back starts aching about 10 minutes into shoveling. The snowblower worked great! I realized that since you can turn it on and off so easily (you donât have to leave it running like a gas snowblower), it was less of a drain on the battery than I anticipated. It was surprisingly quiet and I donât smell like exhaust! It was a little tricky to maneuver (took some effort to push in some locations), but that was more due to the snow conditions (where my car tires had compressed the slush into harder ice). I did run out of power before I finished the sidewalk, walk leading to my porch, driveway apron (with the deeper snow from the street plow), and the driveway, but it only took two scoops with a shovel to finish. I also wonder if I would have been more efficient with the battery life had I not been learning (this was my first time using the snowblower). The batteries charge super fast, so Iâve got them back in the charger and ready to go in case we get more snow tomorrow. Overall, for the price I paid, Iâm very impressed with the quality of this snowblower. I would like to see how it does with deeper snow, but so far, Iâd recommend it to others. P.S. I apologize for the shakiness of the video – I was trying to record with one hand and snowblow with the other and I kept ramming into that darn joint between my driveway slabs. 🙂

Title: temperature issues
Review: First this is an easy to assemble and use snow blower. Today was the first day to use the blower on about two inches of dry snow. The blower was kept in my garage which was 45 degrees. Outside temperature was 18 degrees. I installed the batteries which were fully charged and kept in the house at 70 degrees. Started right up and proceeded down the driveway. Once I got to the bottom the blower stopped. It then started again and ran for about 10 seconds and then stopped again. I started the snow blower again and it ran for a few feet then stopped. Would not restart. I then went inside to read some of the written reviews which stated not only should the batteries be kept in a warm location but so should the snow blower. Wow. I then put the snow blower in my laundry room with the heat on for a couple of hours. I then went back outside with the blower and the temperature was still at 18 degrees. Started up the snow blower and proceeded to clear my 3 car driveway with no issues. The blower never stopped and my driveway and sidewalk looked great. Would buy again but the temperature issues are a negative for a snow blower which you would think is made to handle cold snow temperatures.

Title: Lightweight and Works Well in Powder Snow
Review: I bought this Worx battery snow blower in 2022 but only had a few chances to use it since then to use it due to little snow or no snow the past few winters. LOVE IT. So easy to store, carry around and maneuver outside. The only thing that slows me down is constantly having to stop and crank the top to aim the snow where I want it. Doesn’t work as well in wet snow. However, it shoots at least 6 in powder snow. Cleared my sidewalks and driveway quickly. Very happy with this product.

Title: Works well for what I purchased it for.
Review: I bought this for light fluffy snow. I have a beast gas powered snowblower for the real heavy stuff. It works really well. It even cleared the end of the driveway where the city snowplow pushes it as it goes by. I didn’t think it would but it plowed right through it. The only negative is the short battery life when using it. The fix…I bought extra batteries.Follow up:We’re getting approx.12″ of wet heavy snow. Been out twice so far and this machine is a beast. Very impressed with it. I tried to clear the end of the driveway where the snowplow goes by. It was ok. Didn’t want to damage it so I broke out my 10hp gas beast of a snowplow. Nothing stops this thing. Difference, the thing weighs 350lbs where the worx is about 50lbs. I ordered extra batteries for it, 6ah instead of 4ah. Plowed twice without recharging. Will go out for the 3rd time to see if the batteries stop. I would highly recommend this unit. It works for me.

Review: Good for removing snow on my patio. Also good on removing fresh snow. Light weight. Battery last longer than ai expected. I got a same brand of lawnmower so I got extra 2 batteries that is ready when the battery from this one gets low. Only down side is that the swivel is hard to turn.

Review: We got our first big snowfall a couple of days ago,so,I used the snowblower for the 1st time, here are the proâs and conâs:Proâs: lightweight, surprising good power, not too hard to push in deep snow, doesnât get bogged down and throws the snow out a pretty good distance.Conâs: the batteries wear out very quickly-we had close to 25cm,so there was a fair amount of snow on the ground. It only lasted 30 minutes and lost power-the flip side is the charging time is extremely long,it took about 2 hours to fully recharge the batteries, both have to be charged for the machine to run.I have 2 other spare batteries from another Worx unit so I was OK,but unless youâre doing a pretty small area(our driveway is about 25â wide,60â long)youâll likely run out of power, unless thereâs a lighter amount of snow.To be fair, this was a pretty good snowfall.Other than the battery issue,5 stars for the performance of the unit itself..

Review: I have a large driveway and since I already have a two sets of large 20v worx batteries for my electric mower I thought I would try this blower. When I first tried it the blower would stop after 5 seconds of pushing seeming to power out or just shut down. I was pretty disappointed until I tried it later in the day when it have warmed up outside to around -1c . Then the machine worked flawlessly. I now keep the machine heated before use and have no issues. It was -18c today and I ran 3 sets of batteries through it without a problem. It seems only to have to start warm. We have fairly light snow here but you can load it right up an it throws a good 20′. Machine itselfe is very light compared to walk behind or gas paowered single stage machine. What I like about these single stage un-driven units is that in light snows you can walk as fast as you want and the more you fill it the farther it throws. You will definitely want multiple batteries but this is a fast and easy machine.

Review: I bought this snowblower and it worked fine the first few months but then it started stopping completely the moment it touches snow. No clog or blockage could be found. It just cant be bothered to actually blow snow and stalls the moment it comes under load. the first two winters i would eventually get it to do its job by restarting it, but now in the onset of the third winter nothing i do can make it run. It was stored in dry warm conditions and the batteries were brought inside the house when not in use.Avoid at all costs. Just a 600 buck paperweight now.

Review: I ordered this machine after this wake-up call from the Jan 2020 big snow as I also have lawnmower, hedger, trimmer from the same brand. PowerShare (interchange batteries for all devices) is great! This snowblower was so easy to assemble, much lighter and quieter than gas powered.Today we had heavy snow in southwestern Ontario (Canada) and it was my first time testing out. The machine is so easy to move around and worked so well. The 2x battery pack was sufficient to remove the ~5cm heavy snow for 2.5 car drive way. It has been a good experience and I was indeed impressed.I highly recommend this snowblower.
