Title: Just right
Review: Just right size, magnifier clear and effective. Light is dimmable and can switch between warm, cool, and intense white. Great quality for the price.

Title: Love it
Review: I love it. Magnification is great. I can thread a needle with little difficulty and see to weed small sections of heat transfer vinyl before ironing it onto fabric. Ring light leaves no shadows on objects. My only wish is that the on/off switch wasn’t so far back at the base of the arm. I have to reach to turn it on and off because I installed it at the back of my desk or I’d have to keep taking it down for space reasons.

Title: Same as CANVAS? Good, but they’re all the same.
Review: I use these for painting models.I bought this “10x” to support my 3.5 Impress Art lamp (the white one) that I bought for $35 from Hobby Lobby. The 3.5 is great, illumination of the model behind the lens is fantastic, I don’t use it for the other color modes since I’m painting and don’t need anything other than white light.The10x is not 10x. I’m not sure what I expected, but the magnification is a bit more than my 3:5, so it’s probably around 4-5x. I’m looking for maximum zoom to paint tiny details and this is a little better. Can’t say it was worth it considering my existing setup, but I’ll keep it.Pros: lighting is good, this stand/mount is better than the Impress Art. The white one’s receiver that camps to the table is super wobbly and loose because the hole is too big. This version is more snug and therefore easier to position. The working distance is about 10” and focus/zoom adjusts with distance.Price is great for what it is and what it does.Cons: don’t expect true 10x magnification. It’s about 3.5 or more or so like the other one. Maybe it’s 3.5x at 10” 🤷🏻♂️. The fact that it has a focal point is a pro and a con where the Impress Art model has a more flexible work distance with a set magnification level. No phone mount. The Impress Art version came with a cellphone clamp on the backside (you can see it in my picture) so you can use your phone camera through the magnifier hands free for videos or stable photographs of your work. Otherwise, it’s a great little work lamp.If you’re looking at the expensive CANVAS brand lamps, these appear to be the same lamps; Zoom on their photos and you’ll see the EXACT same hardware for the lamp from the neck stems on the lens head, the plastic fittings, hinges, control switch… everything is the same. The only difference is the heavy duty wooden base that makes it more attractive to sit on your desk and the specific phone mount. If you NEED a phone mount to shoot magnified video, just look for the Impress Art version on Hobby Lobby’s site or check Amazon’s listings for one. Zoom on those photos and you’ll likely see all of the same parts I pictured here.

Title: Great light to help you see small details or read small print
Review: With everything printed smaller and smaller, this light come in handy. Also great to use when working on circuit boards. Quality built-in nothing cheap feeling in appearance or operation. Cord is a USB style that plugs into included adapter. The light secures to the table or a ledge with a screw down clamp like a C clamp securely. The arm is positionable and stays where you move it to. Light is LED in a ring built in flush with bottom of magnifying ring. It has different temperatures of white and different brightness levels- which this light is nice and bright! Magnifier is large enough to be able to see a nice size area without need to move to new position. (Approx . 4.25″ diameter which is bigger than it sounds)Highly recommend for anyone needing to see to read, work on electronics or crafts & needlepoint. Probably be great at seeing to remove splinters as well.

Title: It’s shorter/smaller than what it looks like in the photo
Review: This doesn’t have a huge reach-range like the old-school arm lamps you might remember. It’s about half as long as those were. Still works, and the lens is nice and clear/not distorted. Decently bright light, and switch the color temp is handy. Wish the light controls were on the head by the lens, and not way down at the base – kinda wonky to have to reach all the way across the table to control it.

Title: great for old eyes!
Review: Love it, have 2 now. One out on my work bench. Great to read things with at my age. Never have to find a magnifier glass anymore. Works great for letters or anything smaller to read or see.
