Review: Bought this for a senior citizen that has macular degeneration, and glaucoma. She had reached the point where she couldn’t read her mail anymore, or magazines/newspapers/letters… Now, she can read again. When selecting one of the really high magnifications settings, you may only get one or two words in the viewer at a time, so you have to scan from left to right slowly. But it really does work!

Review: I have AMD and I broke my other magnifier. Needless to say, I was desperate to get ANYTHING, Until my ($600) was repaired! I found this one on Amazon, while looking for my original. This magnifier is great and does more than my$600 model. The only drawback I can come up with is that it is a little heavy! This may help protect it if dropped!
