Title: FIRST: READ THE CONTRACT!
Review: the Advantage alert WAS a pretty little thing that has been returned [in good condition per contract.]—that shell is available with varying options … i am replacing the Adantage alert with a model that i OWN, rather than lease. [should i need an ambulance, i opted out of a polite middleman 2nd guessing me.]

Title: Maybe isn’t really monitored? (it is)
Review: Husband is comfortable wearing it but the other night accidentally dropped it. Right away a voice noted a fall detection and told him to press the button so they could talk. He did. Nothing. No response. No call to my phone. He tried twice. So now we wonder if he has an emergency if anyone will come on line to talk to him or call me. Test mode seems to work but now unsure it’s actually monitored.So day after I wrote this husband fell while I was out of the house. Pendant detected the fall, he spoke to their responder who then called for aid to come to our house. The only negative was they did not call me even though he asked them to. I just happened to come back into the house and found him down waiting for help to arrive.

Title: This is my backup system, that’s now my primary!
Review: You never know what life has instore for you and a system like this may seem a stretch for most people, but things out of your control can happen instantly. Disclaimer is I do have two different monitoring systems already, one that monitors my pacemaker and send reports when I push a button or its regular set transmission, but I must be within 10 feet of the device. The second one is what you call a home monitor for when your alone you push a button, and it calls emergency for you and help comes. That unit for me is only good if I am able to push a button, it doesn’t detect a fall, but the unit is capable, but my insurance won’t pay for the fall bracelet go figure. It has a limited range and distance which covers me in my home and about out to my car and yard.I saw this unit on Amazon and noticed it’s not dependent on a box and works wherever you are, for me this was a must after a major medical issue when I was at my pharmacy. My unit doesn’t detect falls and I went outside due to a womans scream and paid the price, I was attacked. 10 Days later while at the Pharmacy I had a massive stroke from that beating, if I had this device then it would have got the help for me instantly since it offers GPS location and fall detection. During my 3-month test of this device I can tell you the fall detection works well, and they get ahold of me quickly. They contact help and know where I am. I also had an issue and when I fell, I couldn’t talk and the company dispatched help, I awoke to rescue standing over me.The initial cost to get this device isn’t bad, it is only expensive for your service if you do monthly instead of buying a year at once. You save about 10 dollars a month doing the yearly, and for me this device works as my primary since my main system only works at home. I always have my phone in my pocket, so I always have a connection be it 4g, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth with my phone. The device isn’t really small and has a good amount of weight so since I have neck bone spurs, I keep the device in my pants pocket, and it works perfectly. Just like any other service answer times vary from 15 seconds to minutes, but if you have medical needs and are alone this is a must have item and worth the cost output. For me this is a lifesaver and worth the roughly $300 yearly contract, isn’t your life worth that too? Important side not, even if you have an issue always push your button once a month to check the device and make sure they have all your correct and updated information. The package includes the device, charging cable and charging dock, 4 stars since I wish it was a watch option not the keypuck design.
