Title: Quiet and Effective Air Purifier for Any Room

Review: My house is a total of 3000 sqft with an almost all open floor plan. Lots of dust, pollen and pet dander in my home and we were constantly cleaning the filter on our air conditioner. Plus there were days my allergies were unbearable. I purchased another brand for the bedroom which was twice as expensive and it works OK so I wanted another for the main area of the house. Did some research on this model and purchased it for the living room/den/dining area because it claimed to clean more than 1000 sqft, which is about the size of the three rooms combined. We have two big dogs and the Mrs smokes. As soon as I turned the unit on it lit up red ( poor air quality) which I already knew. Within 45 minutes it changed to yellow and 1/2 hr later it was lighting blue. Noticed a big difference within a few hours of receiving this and turning it on. This unit works much better than the other one I have in the bedroom, at half the cost. Very quiet operation, and seems to do an excellent job. The dust was cut down considerably, the cigarette smoke smell is almost gone, the air feels lighter and more crisp already. Will purchase another for the other area of my house ( kitchen, other dining area, etc… Very happy with unit and the price was right.EDIT: After using continuously for an entire month I have to say this unit is fantastic! The amount of dust in my home is greatly reduced. My allergies are much better, and the air is crisp and clean. I could not be happier with this and it is by far one of the better purchases I have made. Buying another for a different area of my home.

Title: Watch out for the blinding blue light!
Review: I haven’t had it long but so far so good. Air quality seems ok & it’s doing what it’s suppose to do. I am using it in a smaller room. Visually it’s got the aesthetics. It’s not too loud even on the highest setting. It’s performing well. The BIGGEST downside to it that I noticed right away is the light. You will be blinded when you turn it on. I like the feel of the buttons BUT you can barely read the label for them. The ring of light is surrounding the buttons so it makes it that much harder to try to make out which button is which since at the same time you’re being blinded by that blue light. I had to use my phone’s flashlight to help guide the way for the buttons :p

Title: Update 6 months later … I notice a HUGE difference with cooking odors gone
Review: Update 6 months later: It’s still working and going strong! I run it 24/7. I’ve replaced the filter once so far. This is an excellent unit!!Original review:I cook a LOT. I also live in florida, which means 360 days a year I cannot open the windows to bring in fresh air (because 85% humidity and the heat)As such, food odors linger in my house.I bought this machine out of pure frustration with the constant smell of bacon after days (I love bacon — but not the smell days later). I even cook my bacon in the oven to prevent odors — but it still smells.(And why does my house always smell like bacon when I make it once very two weeks?!)Then after cooking thanksgiving dinner, and the butter/oil spills in the oven (and subsequent smoke from spills in the oven), my house had a musky odor.This seems to have been constant for the last few months and was bothering me.In the past I’ve purchased hundreds of dollars of fragrance machines, defusers and the various oils for them. While they smell great, cooking smells lingered in my kitchen (and I have an open concept home — so that smell spills to the living area).This was the first odor I smelled when coming into my house — rather than the lovely perfumes from my machines.I got this machine yesterday and set it up last night. It was running while I slept and I ran the oven auto clean (which always smells terrible). I left it on “auto” and the machine ran with the red light (indicates the machine is detecting the most particles) all night. By morning the light was green, but only about 40% of the odor was gone.I figured that would be the best it got. And heck, it was a cyber Monday special and $65 was worth the minor improvement.Flash forward to tonight. I walked into my house and there is NO smell. The air smells clean and there’s no food smell — only the light perfume from my fragrance machine.Mind you I also have a small dog, who sometimes he has an odor as well. No dog smell, no food odors from the meals of yesterday, nothing but clean air and a light perfume (from my defusers).So far, this machine is well worth it and I’ll buy another for my bedroom. I did see another post about EMF from this (and all such machines), so I won’t run it at night while I’m asleep, but will use it during the day.

Title: This is the best air filter I’ve bought
Review: I’ve had this for a few years now and the genius behind it is that it turns up the fan automatically if it detects air pollution and then turns it back down automatically when the air is acceptable. Great unit and glad I bought it. It works great for my one bedroom apartment. Plus it even has an optional LED colored ring that lights up different colors depending on the air quality. The fact that it never stays on red for very long proves that it works harder when it kicks up the fan. Nice job
