Title: Works quite well
Review: I like the compact size and built in light. It makes it easy for my 78 year old eyes to read the fine print.

Title: Great for Bible reading!
Review: I travel for work and carry a small travel Bible with me. Unfortunately, my eyes aren’t 25 years old anymore. It’s hard for me to read that tiny print. This magnifier fixes that. It’s lightweight, easy to use, has a light and magnifies things beautifully. Thanks to being self-covered when stored, it doesn’t get scratched up when in your bag.Inexpensive item that works as advertised and makes it possible to read the tiny stuff. Good purchase.

Title: Does what it is designed to do
Review: Nice product. Well made. Compact. I purchased this to put in my range bag. I need glasses when looking at small items that are near or text. With this I don’t need my reading glasses. The light is bright and the magnifier is clear with very little distortion. The collapsing design keeps the glass from getting scratched. My opinion is the price is high – which is why I gave it four stars.

Title: Light and portable
Review: I work in a vacation related industry. I must examine identification forms — driver’s license, military ID, and passports — to check people’s age. I am a senior citizen who wears glasses. Many of the forms of identification that I must examine use print that is difficult to see. On some, the most critical information is in the smallest print. I found the Illumin8 magnifying glass on Amazon. Although it is a little ore expensive than some similar glasses, it works well and is very bright. I have found that it makes reading birth and expiration dates much easier and quicker to read. It easily fits in my pocket until I need to use it. It opens quickly and silently. My only negative is that I have not had the time to determine how well it holds up.

Title: Small area of visibility, easy to carry.
Review: I wouldn’t catagorize this as “the best” but it’s not bad. About the size of a credit card (a little bigger) and it’s light-weight so easy to carry in a purse. It’s made of plastic so I wouldn’t carry it in a back pocket. Even tho it’s light-weight it isn’t flimsy. The light is small but very bright and helpful. I wish the magnification were stronger. It’s easier to read fine print but there is some distortion around the edges giving you a small view. However, I’m guessing you would pay a lot for a glass lens. It’ll do.

Title: Best pocket magnifier I have used
Review: I am a person with very low vision and I have used a number of different magnifying glasses. I have been using this one for the last two years as my preferred pocket magnifier. The size is perfect for slipping into a pocket or a wallet or purse. It’s extremely useful for use in restaurants, grocery stores, church, etc. The light is very bright and the magnifier seems to be well-made. The only thing I have had to replace in the past two years is the batteries. Because of the small size, I don’t recommend it for Reading books or newspapers, but it is perfect for magnifying things when you are on the go. I highly recommend it.

Title: Lasted 5 minutes.
Review: Con: Either the batteries ran out or bulb died after 5 minutes of use. Too expensive to replace the batteries.Pro: magnifying len as described, viewing to edges instead of in the “sweet spot.”
