Title: Voilà
Review: Recently, I was officially diagnosed with plantar fasciitis while also being diagnosed with Tarsal tunnel syndrome, oh and my great toe started hurting. Both feet. Ugh! some of the worse foot pain out there.Three things: 1) I went up a half size because EVERYTHING about both my feet were hurting.2)I have soooo many sneakers/ clogs/ shoes for work at between $100 to $180 apiece, it gives privileged, overindulgent to the uninformed: The reality is that I kept buying different shoes seeking to relieve the pain of feeling like Ive been standing on nails.3) I finally decided on “Try before you buy” tried and eventually bought these on the advice of my foot and ankle specialist. Best decision.For the first time in the last two or more years I’ve worn the same shoe to work for two weeks. (I work three to four 12hr shifts/week.)Here’s why, I like a soft padded foot bed, particularly at my heels. These are abundantly padded. HOWEVER; foot specialist, and Physical therapist informed me that plantar fasciitis needs a firm foot bed with adequate arch support for relief. Uhmmmm!!! But how’s this for plot twist: My podiatrist ordered me custom inserts, five weeks later they arrive, and they are FIRM! he fits them OVER the inserts of these sneakers and voilà! I now have my plush padded foot bed, good ankle support while the shoe is deep enough to accept a custom insert without unnatural pressure at the arch, toe box, top or ball of foot. In fact I do NOT feel the inserts at all. I think my decision to go up half size may have helped the insert fit. Shoes still are bigger but does not feel loose or unstable. These are breathable and stylish even for my sz 11 feet AND I went up a half size. Great shoe. I also think they’re hand washable.

Title: Brooks Glycerin 21: Good shoes
Review: The pictures after after quite a few shifts so they aren’t “brand new” and are a little dirty. I am a Brooks believer. Haha okay no but these really are nice shoes. I like Brooks shoes but not all of them feel comfortable to me. I wear a size 8 in most shoes and these are no different size-wise. At first I put them on and it felt like there was too much foam around my achilles tendon area and my foot was too high inside the shoes but it quickly softened and felt nice, snug and supportive. I have a wide foot and high arch. I will say there isn’t a high arch in this shoe but it still feels like I have good arch support. I have a tendency to walk on the outer parts of my feet and these keep me well supported. They are thick soled so I do not feel the ground through the pads of my feet as I walk. Not clunky nor heavy. I can’t distinctly hear myself walking around. I feel comfortable on my feet for 12hr shift.

Title: Great for healthcare workers
Review: I am a nurse and I’m on my feet for 12 hours each working shift. I bought these after reading a variety of reviews for the best shoes for healthcare workers. These shoes have a wide toe box and wonderful support. My feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. I have tied many brands over the years and these are the best I’ve ever worn. Worth the money

Title: Very Comfortable
Review: I have had planters fasciitis and know within 30 minutes if these shoes will be comfortable or cause pain. These are nice and the wide seems true to width. Supports without pinching my foot. May be back to purchase 1 more before they close out this edition. Do a lot of walking and these help me do it with ease.

Title: If you have wide feet, size UP!
Review: If you’re reading this, size up a half size when purchasing! These run SMALLER than previous glycerin models!I have always been a size 6.5 WIDE in Brooks and have had several previous “Glycerin” models, so I was very surprised when 6.5 wide was not only too small but too NARROW. I sized up to a 7, and it fits much better.That being said, Brooks is stepping up their game in terms of the style and colors of their shoes. In my opinion, the Glycerin 21 is the most attractive shoe I’ve owned from brooks and the first that doesn’t somewhat resemble “old people shoes”. Looks aside, I will say that I like the fit of the previous model — Glycerin 20 — a bit better. The bottom of the shoes are very padded and heavier like Hokas, which is great for walking but not the best for running.Overall, Brooks is still the best option out there in terms of comfort and traction. I wear brooks every day for my job (on my feet and walking ALL day as a fitness professional), and my feet and back always feel great — unlike with other brands! Great shoe. Just make sure to size UP, especially if you have wide feet!

Title: Great for walking/everyday wear; nice size selection
Review: After giving birth, I needed to get rid of pretty much all of my shoes because my feet got longer by a half size.I went to a sport shoe store and got a white pair of these and LOVED them. They are so comfy, provide me the right amount of arch and foot support. I come from a family where the women have larger than average foot size, so finding shoes can be difficult for me. Brooks offers a really nice size range, so it’s not too hard for me to find shoes that fit and are actually cute.For what I needed, these seem like they will be very durable, which is just daily walking and running around after a toddler.I got the purple color from Amazon when they had a little bit of a sale. I’m not typically a “need the same shoe in different colors” kind of person, but these shoes are just that good, in my opinion.

Title: The Best Brooks
Review: The Brooks Glycerin has been my go-to sneaker for years. I’ve already been professionally fitted a few times and this is usually the winner, so I wasn’t buying blind. I’d been squeezing the last bit of life out of my 20s when faced with the decision of going for the 21s or the new 22s. The 21s were marked down due to the release of the 22s, but it’s all about comfort. Several running reviews guided me to the 21s over the 22s. I’ve got about 85 miles on them so far and I love them. Bonus points for an ultra bright color with top notch reflective elements. These are not a fast shoe but they’re great for anyone looking for a neutral shoe that’s comfortable enough for long distances. As is true with most premium running shoes, they are good to go straight out of the box. They also work for just standing around. I have a work desk that can be raised to standing height and these keep me comfortable when I choose to stand for an hour or two.

Review: Have been a loyal Asics customer for almost ten years but had the opportunity to purchase a pair of these at an event on clearance and have been loving them so far. I walk at least 10km a day and the soles and outer baby toe of my last 4 pairs of Asics did not stand up, these see to be holding up better so far and didn’t require any breaking in period.
