Burger King Just Brought Back the ‘Best Fast Food Fish Sandwich,’ According to Fans

Like many fast food chains, Burger King changes its menu every now and then. Of course, everyone loves the classic Whopper, but variety is also appreciated, especially when it’s with comfort food options.

Just last month, the burger chain released its new Steakhouse Bacon Whopper, another entry from the Million Dollar Whopper competition—the contest that brought three brand-new Whoppers to menus back in November.

But if you know anything about this time of year, it’s not all about beef. That’s because it’s the Lenten season, which sees fried fish sandwiches swim onto menus left and right. And to celebrate the beginning of Lent, Burger King is bringing back a limited-time version of its beloved fish sandwich: the Fiery Fish Sandwich.

Burger King Brings Back the Fiery Big Fish Sandwich

Burger King’s Big Fish Sandwich is made up of a panko-crusted fillet with tartar sauce, pickles, and lettuce on a brioche bun. Last year, the popular fish sandwich got a spicy upgrade. Enter: the Fiery Big Fish.

What makes the Fiery Big Fish different from the original BK Big Fish Sandwich is the spicy glaze for an added kick. You can expect the same of everything else, including the white fish covered in crispy panko breading, along with the lettuce, pickles, and tartar sauce served on a brioche bun.

The Fiery Big Fish debuted to rave reviews, which would explain why Burger King decided to bring the sandwich back again this spring. One Reddit user called it “the best fast food fish sandwich I have had in a while,” with another commenter adding, “It didn’t disappoint. It was really good.” On a different Reddit thread, fans shared they “Love, love, LOVE” the Fiery Big Fish.

But those who still want to enjoy the classic Big Fish sandwich, fear not. You can still order it and even get a deal when you do. Anytime between March 5 and April 20, member of Royals Perks (Burger King’s loyalty program) can grab a Big Fish for just $2 when they buy another classic Big Fish sandwich at full price.

However, unlike the original Big Fish sandwich that’s available year-round, this spicy version is only available for a limited time. You can find the Fiery Big Fish at participating Burger King locations nationwide starting March 6.
