Title: Good for in home use, not great for remote notifications
Review: This does a good job of notifying people who can hear the alarm going off in the house that there’s an issue. It requires an app and notifications to work remotely. It’s a novel idea and can be useful. My parent who needs this lives in a 3 story home. It doesn’t always work in the basement, but it’s better than not having it.

Title: Fantastic pager system with no monthly subscription
Review: We have an older relative that has some mobility issues and is getting unsteady on her feet. We were concerned about her falling while home alone, but we were hesitant to get into a system with an expensive monthly fee. This pager system was the perfect solution. You plug the base station into any USB outlet (or charging block), connect it to the Wi-Fi where the person is that will be using it, and then install the app and pair it with the device. You can then get a push notification on your cellphone whenever the person presses the button on the FOB (it also sounds an alarm for anyone that might also be at the home but in another room). I’ve tested it numerous times and I get the alert every single time. Best of all, there are no subscription fees of any kind. In our case, this system offers everything we need, as our primary concern was when our relative was up and moving around during the day, and might take a fall. During the night, the push notification might not wake you up, but at that time our relative has easy access to a phone. We’re very pleased with this system and grateful that someone developed a pager alert system that doesn’t require an expensive monthly subscription. Overall, this system is very easy to use and a great value for the price. Highly recommended!

Title: simple setup, great for use when everyone is home, less great when fully remote
Review: I got this to have “emergency call” buttons around the apartment where my older family member lives. In all test runs, the buttons have worked and the local siren has been very _very_ audible. Thanks to the Tuya Smart Life app, internet connectivity was easy to setup. Unfortunately, there’s no (perhaps overly) extreme notification mode that will ensure the notification is viewed if you’re like me and get too many notifications on your phone.There seems to be no way to give feedback at the base station siren that the internet is down or no one has acted upon the notification.

Title: Works in our home
Review: We have an elderly family member and needed a way for her to be able to alert us if she needed help and we were not on the same floor. Setup was simple, the night light is a convenient feature if you need a night light. I use it so to verify the receiver is powered, you must keep the receiver plugged it, it is not rechargeable. Alert works upstairs, in the basement and garage. We have a 3 level home, considering the basement / garage as one level. The Tuya Smart app works on my iPhone. In addition to ending the alert in the App you can quickly press the wi-fi button on the receiver if your phone is not close. The only thing I wish could be added is an alert tone that is not a song, perhaps just a series of beeps? Overall I am very pleased and this product does what I needed it to.

Title: This is not suitable for a low WIFI signal area.
Review: This wonderful system, did not work for our needs. It requires a USB Port at all times and a strong WIFI signal. We selected this was for a family member who lives out in the country. They do not have a computer with a USB Port for a constant connection. The household WIFI signal is not very strong and this alert system requires a reliable signal. In addition, this will really only work inside the house (330 feet) and not out in the yard where the family member spends most of the time. While we loved the idea of a wireless alert call button, this system will not work for our specific needs. We gifted it to another family and it is working great for them.

Title: Only one type of phone can support the app.
Review: I got this for my mom, as she regularly has spells where she’s faint, dizzy, or can’t breathe (she’s a lung cancer survivor and only has one lung). I thought it would be a good idea to have something like this, as she’d just hit a button and my brother and I would be notified if there was any issue with her. HOWEVER; we cannot both get alerts because my brother has an Android device and I have an Apple iPhone – which means we cannot share app connectivity. So I’ll allow him to use the app, as he lives much closer to our mother. Just very disappointed I couldn’t use as well. So that’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking to share app connectivity with others.

Title: Handy call-for-help device
Review: We have our mom living us. Often at night, she has trouble getting up and out of bed for the bathroom. This is quite a handy device for her to call us for help.It is easy to setup. I already have the Smart Life app so I can proceed to add the device by just press the WIFI button on the receiver, open the Smart Life app and it detects a new device to be added. The home WIFI ID and password are pre-filled on the screen, so I just press to proceed with the connection.Once the device is setup, each time you push the SOS alarm button (2 are included), the receiver will sound out loudly (volume or music choice can be adjusted). Press any button on the receiver to stop or you can stop it on the app. The notification is sent to the phone like any other phone apps’ notification. The alarm also turns itself off after 30 seconds.You can share this alarm device with other remote users so they can receive the alarm notification. The app can also initiate the alarm itself. I don’t have the need for this yet, but I may in the future when I need more people watching and looking after my mom.This is a simple device that replaces the old fashion ringing bell and works locally as well as remotely. Very handy device.
