Title: loud and clear
Review: I have trouble hearing certain people on the phone and first tried the Clear Sounds phone which helped somewhat but though it is loud it is not always clear, sometimes the voices are kind of broken up. This phone cost a lot more but it works much better – I can hear everyone perfectly. At first it drove me crazy when a voice repeated the numbers as I dialed but I called customer service and when she had ascertained that I am “sighted” a very pleasant representative told me how to turn off that feature. I didn’t like spending so much for the phone but I am a satisfied customer. I see that there are Clarity phones that are less expensive, perhaps they would have been just as good because, thankfully, I don’t need the “low vision” features that are included on this one.

Title: Loud
Review: I got this for an almost blind person. It’s good for that but so loud the sound is distorted. It’s over priced as the features aren’t better or different from less expensive phones. I’ve tried several.

Title: Programed numbers drop off and now the program feature no longer works, support is lousy
Review: At first it worked great, then numbers that were programmed stopped working, multiple attempts to fix the issue failed and no support from supplier.

Title: Clarity Amplified Big Button Phone JV-35
Review: We ordered this phone for an elderly parent. It seems to be working well. No lighted dial and as far as we can tell – no hands free use. We are satisfied – the unit seems substantial enough. We were just looking for a basic phone that amplified well and this seems to do that adequately. Our parent isn’t able to handle a lot of bells and whistles – so, this works fine for her. Programming in a few phone numbers for her has been helpful – she now just pushes one number to dial her favorite phone numbers.

Title: Best for for my elderly Aunt
Review: This was the best solution for my 95 yr old Aunt Shirlee. She has vision issues so it is easy for her to see and hear each number she is dialing. Since I am her closest nephew I bought it for her and I set it up which was super simple. The volume was loud enough and the number keys are vey large so for my Aunt to make a phone call by her bed was a cinch. This was the second one I purchased for her. The other phone is in her office. She still uses a land line, so Clarity phones were the best quality, size and best solution to meet my amazing Aunt Shirlee’s needs. I absolutely recommend this product!!!

Title: The volume and tone controls are conveniently placed and operable …
Review: The volume and tone controls are conveniently placed and operable by someone with limited vision, and the large dialing buttons work well as designed. We have had a continuing problem with the voice quality in outgoing calls. Unless the handset is held absolutely correctly, the voice quality and volume of the person speaking very quickly degrades, making the phone more difficult to use than what would seem to be appropriate.

Title: A PIECE OF JUNK
Review: Purchased this brand new phone and it is made like a piece of junk. No dial tone when you pick up the receiver. Need to hit the cradle to get the dial tone to connect. (Yes I did confirm the wire was working with another unit.) Unable to use the other features since the phone does not even function like a normal phone. Poor cheap construction. Certainly not reliable telephone for a person with a handicap. Would never recommend this unit. Happy to return it.
