Title: Perfect for my Senior Father
Review: I received this corded landline phone for my elderly father, and it has been perfect for his needs. The big buttons make dialing easy, and the loud volume ensures he can hear calls clearly. The SOS emergency dial gives me peace of mind, knowing he can quickly reach help if needed.Setup was simple, and it works reliably without any issues. If you’re looking for a senior-friendly phone that is easy to use and dependable, this is a great choice! Highly recommend.

Title: Good, LOUD, phone
Review: It’s so hard to find a decent, old fashioned phone these days. This one is very good (not perfect). First of all, the phone is LOUD. The ringer is loud and the handset is loud (and adjustable). That was perfect for my very hard-of-hearing Dad. The handset almost locks into the holder which is also a pretty good idea. It’s a little difficult for Dad to get out but he knows, for certain, when it is back in and the call has been hung up. The light that alerts an incoming call is also great!.Now…. the redial buttons…. Most importantly, ALL THREE can be programmed to anything you want. This was important for me because I didn’t want Dad to accidentally call 911. That, red, button is just in the wrong place and/or looks and feels too much like the two other redial buttons. But, as I said, that button can be programmed to anything, just like M1 and M2. I programed it to my phone number. Since “M1″ and M2” don’t mean anything to anyone (except the person who designed the phone), I put the names of the people the buttons are programmed for on tape in the little space above the buttons. Of course, Dad invariably tries to call by pushing the TAPE, and not the BUTTON. It would be a great design improvement if the buttons were bigger and had windows (like old office phones) so you could write a person’s name and stick it in the window. With the phone button number so BIG, it seems an odd choice to make the redial buttons (which will probably be used more often) so small, badly named and oddly placed.
