If you are like some of our patients who get neck injuries and pain after doing pull ups, it maybe because your scapula isn’t moving in the right direction. Scaps should move down first before you pull up, not the other way round. So – if this is you then try the scapula pull either hanging of using a single or double band to get the movement right, strong and automatic so when you do the pull up the scapula is in the right position during the movement.
