Title: Good, comfortable insoles if you have a little patience
Review: I have a set of custom insoles made by a running store, so I was looking for a cheaper pair that would work for my everyday shoes. These have some good and bad points about them, so let’s run through them. On first arrival, they just come in a bag with some instructions on how to use them. It says to either wear them a while, and they will set, or heat them, and then stand in them until they set. I heated them, and honestly, they didn’t feel great after standing in them for a while. My arches hurt a fair amount. Then, after they cooled, they set up nicely, and ended up pretty good. They are still a hair tall in the arches, but overall pretty good. Not as good as the ones from the running store, but they also cost about 1/4 the price. It did take them after a full day of wearing them for them to get more comfortable, though. I have high, but fallen arches, so the arch support is very important for me. These certainly have the arch support. They are very thick insoles. This is good in that it makes them very comfortable, with a lot of cushion. Of course, it makes the vertical space in shoes tight when replacing built in insoles that were originally much thinner. As long as your shoes have enough vertical space, or they can be loosened enough, they work fine.I got the Men’s 9-9.5 size, and it fits most of my shoes quite well. I lost weight, and I still have shoes from when my feet were larger, so I have a variety of sizes of shoes. I have a set of size 45 European (~10.5 US) shoes, a size 44 European (~9.5-10 US), and a size 43 European (~9.5 US). They are certainly too small in the size 45’s with the insoles being too narrow and short to fill out the shoes. The size 44’s and 43’s fit about perfectly in each, at least well enough that I can’t feel any problems when wearing them. I may pick up a larger size for my size 45 shoes, but realistically I’ll probably stop wearing those and switch to shoes that better fit me anyway.Pro’s:They are very comfortable with a lot of cushion. They do end up molding fairly well after a bit of patience.Their sizing, at least for Men’s 9-9.5 seemed pretty right on.Con’s:They are very thick, which could be a problem in some shoes. They do take some doing to get the molding right. Maybe heating a minute or two longer would make them set better? Try at your own risk. They seem cut for American shoes, so using them in shoes with unusually large toe areas may be too small, and you might need to get a size up and then trim them.Overall, if I had unlimited funds, I’d probably go back to the running store and have them professionally fit me for custom insoles. Otherwise, these seem to be a good deal for quite comfortable insoles if you’re ok with the whole heating / wearing in phase.

Title: Would absolutely purchase again
Review: These insoles did EXACTLY what I wanted, which was to make my tennis shoes even more comfortable when walking. I have a combination dirt road/gravel driveway and then a mostly concrete walking surface on my most common walk. These insoles VASTLY improved the comfort of my walk, the support of my feet. AND, best yet, other than increased support, it’s hard to tell I’ve added anything to my shoes. That’s how beautifully they add to the arch and support of my feet. By the way, they’re described as rigid, but I experienced nothing in the feel that felt rigid. Wearing them feels almost unnoticeable, except for an increased comfort cushioning. Great price, great product, highly recommend!

Title: Nice insert at a good price
Review: I would give this 5 stars but I had to return a couple of times and then trim the ones I kept. They sent the larger size to me every time so I finally just trimmed them.

Title: If you have high arches these work
Review: A few of the reviews stated that they were large and had a hard time fitting them into their shoes. Well yes they are large, however I have high arches, and after 20 years the ACL repair I had hse begun to loosen and wear the cartilage on the outside of my leg causing sciatica. Wearing these has increased the angle such that I stop walking knock kneed and the pain in both my knee and my back has disappeared. Not having to have a total knee replacement is worth it. After a day of wearing they have fit in my shoes and are comfortable. Yes I would buy them again.

Title: TOO THICK AND WIDE for most normal shoes!!
Review: Nope. These are no good for any of my normal shoes. Maybe for some people with big boots, or VERY wide shoes. 3 problems:-They are true 1/4 inch thick, which is very thick for any regular shoes except maybe boots that have a lot of room in them. Measure the thickness of your current soles and you can tell if these will make your shoes too tight.-They don’t mold much at all in the oven. The instructions say 200 degrees for 3 minutes. Did that with no noticeable results. Then did 275 degrees for 6 minutes, which made maybe a tiny bit of molding, I think, but nothing like the custom heat molded insoles you get at a running she store etc. Basically zero custom molding on these.-The shape of the insole overall is way too wide. They don’t fit in your shoes. The heel area is super wide, so it won’t slide down into any normal shoes. Other insoles have a much slimmer heel. The heel on these is almost 1/4′ wider on each side than the heel on my superfeet orange insoles. These insoles are way wider than the superfeet or any insoles from my other shoes. I’m a men’s size 13. I used a razor knife to shave off width around the heel and entirety of the insole to get these to fit in my shoes. Most people don’t want to do that. Then since I shaved the heel much narrower to actually be able to slide down and fit in, the cupping shape of the heel was then pretty much gone, which is a big part of what makes good insoles supportive and comfortable. Now they just feel too thick with no heel support. Throwing them away.

Title: Semi-rigid insoles going ‘flat’?
Review: This is probably a quality with most moldable EVA inserts — they eventually flatten overtime as the heat from the foot molds the insole. I’ve used these insoles for work/commuting, which would explain this (shoes are on my feet 10 hours of the day). Not the kind of insole you’d want if you want to force your foot arches to stay up. 3 stars only because it does a good job at comfort.

Title: Is simply lifechanging
Review: I can’t think of anything else under $30 that has changed my life the way this thing has. My right foot has been hurting me for over 10 years. I have tried expensive orthotic shoes, arch support…nothing works. Then I read that I probably need a specialist to make expensive molded insoles. But I decided to give this a try first and now I have zero pain. One warning though. Be conservative when you cut to size, because I accidentally trimmed one of these insoles too much and now I can feel the edge on my toe.
