Title: One semi-major flaw that caused user error
Review: I’m gonna start with I love this cuff. Very portable. Love that it’s rechargeable.HOWEVER, I had taken it with me into a drs appointment to see how accurate it is and at first…it wasn’t.The drs and I discovered it was the placement of the digital unit itself over the brachial artery that led to more accurate results.There is no line anywhere on the device nor sleeve to indicate where the vein needs to be in order to get an accurate reading.If i didn’t know how to use a regular blood pressure cuff and know about the artery from being in school and didn’t have a dr/nurse help, this would just be giving me wrong readings and I would have been returning it right away.The app shows graphs on if I’m in the high blood pressure area or not and lets me view the history of my other prior readings so that’s a definite plus for sharing with the drs.I wish the app could automatically pull the readings over into the health app for Apple like other health and fitness apps/devices do instead of me having to enter them in myself though.Above all, I really only have two issues; the lack of a marker for where to place the brachial artery for more accurate readings and the lack of communication between the device and the Apple health app. I still love it, love that it’s rechargeable and very portable and just what I needed at the end of the day.

Review: So this worked great for the first couple months. At about 5 months it is no longer calibrated and reading 8-10 points higher at the top number than my in dr office readings. Sucks because I really loved this cuff and so did my dr.’sI have to check 2-3 times a day
