Title: Approaching two years in service, both are working well. Very satisfied
Review: At this price point, there’s a gamble with off-brand items on Amazon and eBay. Will the quality be at least “good enough” or will the device fail? In the worst situation, will it melt down or present a physical risk?Happily, I can say that the pair of these lights that I have are working with zero problems. My biggest concern was the internal power supply that takes outlet voltage and turns it into something appropriate for the low-voltage LEDs inside. I have had no issue so far, so I expect the electronics were properly designed. That is a relief. As far as functionality goes: The sensor that turns on the device as the room darkens does it’s job well. The light is a gentle blue that will not blind you when waking in the middle of the night, yet is plenty bright enough to avoid the chairs in my 11×12′ kitchen (my toes appreciate that!)The other light lives in the garage, which gets the full heat of Florida summers. Again, poorer built products can overheat in that closed area with the sun beating on the roof. The light works as well as the one in the A/C.I consider these to be above the quality that I’d expect from low-price market and recommend them.UPDATE: Some months later, the new ones work as well as the older ones I previously purchased. All remain in service, working fine. If I need more nightlighs, these are now my go-to choice.

Title: Amber is the best soft light
Review: I purchased both the Amber and the Red because I wanted soft night light rather than something waking me up with its brightness. The red is OK, but the amber light is definitely the better of the two for providing soft and adequate lighting.

Title: Good, low-profile night light
Review: I bought two of the red lights a couple years ago (just now getting to a review, sorry) and they have been pretty great. They have a sensor that detects light so they automatically turn on or off, but not just straight on or off, it’s kind of like a dimmer switch based on how much light it detects. I put one in the bathroom and one in the hall right outside my bedroom because my dog sometimes randomly decides to sleep just outside my bedroom door and I don’t want to trip on her. This is where the loss of a star comes in (although honestly I would really only take away 1/2 a star if I could because this is relatively trivial. Basically the lights seem pretty bright especially if you’re looking right at it, but the light diffuses a little too much so they don’t quite light up the area very much. So it’s not really enough for me to see my dog laying on the floor a couple feet away from the light, but it is enough that if I stop and stare for a few seconds, I can kinda see a shadow indicating that she might be there. I’d say there’s maybe a 1 to 2 – foot radius that you would be able to see ok, anything beyond that is pretty difficult. Overall though it’s better than nothing and I don’t regret the purchase!

Title: Works fine as a true night-light
Review: This light comes on only when it is rather dark, which is what I wanted. It is a light for the dark-adapted eye only. So, if you get up in the middle of the night, it’s exactly what you want. On the other hand, if you get up from your computer screen at the desk with the lamp and stumble into the bathroom, it will not be bright enough for you.

Title: Love them.
Review: I was looking for a unique nightlight and this fits the bill great. I have one in the hallway & one in the bathroom.Old school night lights turned on to easily from lack of light like lets say the hallway even though there is daylight in the house from windows in other rooms. This light stays off during those times, it only turns on when it is actually night time. And the light color is soft, i got the orange ones, easy on the eyes at night, plus the color orange is not one of those wakes you up at night. They light the way enough to to see no issue, they are not overly bright which i love. Nothing like getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and having to turn on a real light of go to the bathroom in the dark to avoid turning on a real light. Anyways these lights do the trick for me. Hope this retarded review is helpful lol.

Title: Excellent for needs.
Review: Really like these blue ones. Have them throughout the house and provide necessary illumination at night in case anyone needs to move about.

Title: Not very bright
Review: Don’t get as a standalone light, it’s cute for accents but not for a night light for say a bathroom.
