Review: A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing!Everybody knows itâs slinkyDo yourself a favor – if youâre buying a kid their first slinky, buy two. They will bend it, warp it, tangle it, wrap it around every object in sight (including the dog). It does not bend back into shape. You can try every âhackâ on the googlenets, but it Will. Not. Happen.You will be relentlessly pestered on the status of the slinky repair to the point that you hop back on Amazon to find the highest rated noise cancelling headphones. I promise they are far more expensive than the slinky. Just buy two.

Title: The original slinky
Review: I purchased this for my 11 year old grandson who saw it online and was SO excited to try it. LOL. Low tech, no batteries, old school fun. He’s been playing with it for weeks. Eventually it will probably get ‘sprung’ as it goes with slinkys -but for now, he has been loving it. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Title: Smaller than I remember, will not ‘walk’ down the stairs
Review: I remember loving these as a kid and spent an embarrassingly long amount of time making the slinky “walk” down the stairs. I told my son about this when he received a small plastic knockoff slinky in a party bag and he wanted to try the same. We received the slinky and to my surprise it seems a lot smaller and there is no way this little guy can walk the stairs. It’s too inexpensive to even mess with returning so we’ll keep it. Maybe we can make smaller stairs or obstacles out of Legos or stacking books, but if you are wanting to relieve some childhood stair fun, don’t buy this one. 🙂
