Title: Engaging, Informative, and Fun—Perfect for Homeschool
Review: My husband picked up The Way Things Work by David Macaulay as part of our homeschool curriculum, and it’s been a total win! We’re using it with our 14- and 12-year-old daughters, and they’re both hooked. The book has fantastic illustrations and a layout that’s not just eye-catching but also easy to follow. The text is written so clearly that even I can explain things without sounding like I’m lost in a sea of confusing jargon (which, let’s be honest, happens more often than I’d like). It covers a wide range of topics, from technology to architecture, and it’s a great way to combine history, science, and STEM into one fun, informative resource. Plus, the kids actually want to learn from it—which, as any homeschool parent knows, is a small miracle. Highly recommend!

Title: must have. must.
Review: Must have for anyone who has ever wondered how things work. Great for kids and still favorite as an adult. The illustrations are incredible at helping explainthe concepts, and most people are visual learners.

Title: One of my 7 year old’s favorites
Review: My 7 year old is an advanced reader and loves to read informational books. This has been one of his favorites! I got this for his birthday in may, it is now March, and he still picks this up often to read! Such a wealth of information and pictures. He loves it. I would definitely recommend if you have a child who loves to know how everything works and always asks questions about these types of things.

Title: Beautiful and Informative Book for All Ages
Review: It took my book a long time to arrive but the wait was well worth it. It arrived undamaged and in perfect condition. I bought more than one to give as gifts and I am keeping one for myself. A young child can enjoy the pictures and a senior can revisit all the inventions they saw in their lifetime. Sit back, relax and enjoy.

Title: Too Technical for an Advanced 2nd grader.
Review: It is a very heavy hard cover book, maybe too much for my 7 yo grandson. Also it was too technical and too advanced for him although he is advanced for his grade level. I accidentally ordered 2 copies instead of 1 and will by returning them both.

Review: Amei o livro, vou usar pra aprender física.
