
The Single Leg Step Down using a Bar for unloading the knee is a regression of a standard step down or single leg squat and great for this stage of the program where we need to improve movement patterning. The unloading using the bar enables you to go though more range with no pain or if you are weak in this position, enabling strengthening through range that you perhaps you couldn’t do with normal body weight.
